    The next step for improving exponentially would be having a Winning and Growth mindset. Most of us suffer from Anxiety during clutch moments and when playing against a high skill player in general. But a Winning mindset can overcome Anxiety. And noticing what you have done wrong at the moment, areas where you're weak and working towards them, playing every moment consciously, in short having a growth mindset can improve your skill level far more than buying expensive peripherals.

    I honestly think physical health is extremely underrated by most people. For one, being in shape and generally strong means you can game longer without injury. Having more muscle tissue and stronger tendons from doing things that are more physically demanding than gaming means that gaming is a lower percentage of your maximal effort and the closer you are to maximal effort, the more likely it is you might get injured, especially for high reps which is what gaming is imo. And while I agree with the idea that long grinding sessions are not all that useful for getting better, nothing stymies progress faster than an RSI or other injury.
    There's also a myriad of other benefits. There's evidence that a more physically active person has a faster and more reactive neural network. Having a stronger arm can mean you can literally move it faster and with greater precision. Physical activity helps vision, a lower resting heart rate is good for focus, higher levels of physical activity are associated with more restful sleep etc etc etc
    Other smaller things like being in shape allows for better ergonomics while aiming since you don't have things like a big ol belly getting in the way of sitting close enough to the edge of your desk.
    On top of all of that, physical fitness is directly correlated with mental fitness. Focus, learning, acuity, recall. So many things show a boost when you're physically fit. Strenuous physical exercise can increase the level of stress, both mental and physical, that you feel comfortable with.
    And most of that is just exercise! Diet effects nearly all of those things as well, sometimes to a greater extent.
    Not being physically healthy and fit is leaving so much on the table when it comes to performance in gaming.

      Ergonomics has nothing to do with muscles being trained or not. You do it right by the huge adjustments or do it wrong and foolishly attempt to compensate with other things.

    • @Stu81
      @Stu81 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Shallo if there was any truth about physical fitness being a big thing then considering the large amount of players it would be reflective of that but it isn't, the rankings don't show that all the physically fittest players are at the top, but what is actually reflective is hours played and the kind of fitness level this guy is talking about to get a marked difference in attributes would mean a player would have far less hours on their butt in a chair.

    • @Shallo
      @Shallo ปีที่แล้ว

      I somewhat agree with you but have you ever wondered about the greater potential an unhealthy player can still achieve? For example, obese and inactive professionals are probably talented and forcefully grinded their way to the top, but could likely still perform better if they were healthy. For the minority of healthy professionals, being fit could have been a massive difference for them (and we wouldn't know). As for the physically fit players not on the top, they probably still play better than if they were unhealthy, and most likely aren't as talented or spent as much time grinding. Maybe it doesn't seem like a big thing because like you said, the rankings sure make it look like that, but for all we know with the examples I gave we wouldn't be sure if that's true. I think it's safe to assume it's most likely not true as being fit and healthy will literally ensure your body functions/performs at its best for hundreds if not thousands of activities. A lot of professional gamers are lazy and don't realize their greater potential by making sure their life outside the video game is taken care of. With that being said, it's still possible that fitness and health can help beyond the noticeable difference for a starter player.@@Stu81

    Im someone like you, someone who is obsecced with the aiming theory and i've tried everything that will have direct or indirect affect on aim...you can name it, (top world mouses gpro superlight wireless, top mouse pads (Artisan), excellent gaming chair, good posture, arm aim/wrist aim, practise, good hardware, sleep, even bending computer table towards ur body..........etc. But i kinda figured what could mostly affect your aim, its not ur mouse, not ur pad, not ur gaming chair, not ur posture and not all of what is said above...its for me at least is how u grip the mouse and how well and efficiently can repeat that grip consistently cuz just tiny slight change to ur grip can result in huge decrease in your mouse control and accuracy.

    Why did I give up on pursuing a journey to become a skilled aimer? It's because I have a illness known as aging XD. I'm already 37 years old, and my illness is deteriorating every day. Therefore, I made the decision to transition from playing games and focusing on aim training to creating games instead. With my game, young gamers can train themselves and enhance their abilities with a sense of joy in same time.. :) Ps. i'm at the beginning of the process but it's better then doing nothing.

    • @Fredwreck04
      @Fredwreck04 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I'm 38 and have only been aim training properly for about 2 years and I think age is mostly an excuse as the reaction time doesn't decrease enough with age to really counter the massive improvements you get from training. Of course, if your goal is to be the top 10 in the world, I agree that age is a limiting factor but otherwise you can definitely get elite aim well into your 40s...

      I have an illness too, its called skill regression & sudden skill loss, i practice only aiming over an hour every single day. the reason you don’t understand this is because it only happens to me. Ive searched every search engine, no relevant or accurate information was found. So i spam questions related to my illness across sites like yt, reddit, quora, etc. all ignored everytime, implying to me that no one knows which leads to the conclusion its only something that happens to me. There is also personal preference, I for example play APEX on 1K dpi with 2.0 ingame sens, while my people play 800 dpi 1.2-1.8 sens, altho it's "slower" they move faster, I increase because I need to be able to flick and turn quick. If it's slower, I can't do it. But also, there is the whole "time" thing, I for one haven't been on a PC since 2008, while some players have been playing on PC their entire life. Everyone is different, we all have to play in order to preform better, it comes with time

    I know I could probably improve a lot if I used a much lighter mouse than a 12button mouse, but on occasion i like to play other types of games like mmorpgs and every 10 years 3 games of league where the buttons really give you an advantage over other players.
    Even in the movement shooters like apex or COD the button on the 12 button mouse can make you appear to play like you are on controller since you can do a lot of crouching , sliding, throwing lethals with one hand, while still aiming and moving, and it also frees up Left shift to do something else in those games as well.
    So I'm still waiting for Razer or corsair to figure out how to make a lighter version of those kinds of mice. I like the size of it as I mentioned in another video because at least with the naga it supplies you a place to rest your ring finger where you can adjust tension on the mouse especially if you are using the numpad.
    I think as multiplayer and BRs get more complex you are going to see people shifting from the common, lighter , mouse with maybe 3 or 4 buttons on the side to something with 7 to 12 buttons.

  • @MonsterChuck
    @MonsterChuck ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I am actually relearning mkb as I have been on controller for the past ~10 years. I have been testing many different mice and have found it to NOT be a 1 size fits all. This is especially true for me with weight. While gaming mice have jumped on the trend of "lighter is better" I have not found that to be the case for me. I settled on the G703 due to it's comfort and the weight not feeling heavy but also not obnoxiously light. It is important to factor in difference in anatomy and also physical fitness/strength. What a 60-70g mouse might feel like to others might be what a 90g mouse feels like to me. My point is, everyone is different and overall feel is subjective.
