Black Holes crushes me every time. I can't believe she wrote it when she was 13! It's so good. Wise beyond her years is an understatement.
When Dany said that it is Ale's favorite song, it was meant as a humorous jab at Ale, because she had said once that she hated the song.
The accoustic guitar was provided to The Warning by Daisy Pepper. She is a fantastic bass and guitar player. I witnessed DPA signing her guitar at the end of the tour in London. Thank you Daisy Pepper!
You can see Daisy sitting right in front of them at 9:13 in this video. I was there as well, but not in the video out of respect for all viewers. 😄
As I recall, it was the line “I don’t know how to be heartbroken” in Shattered Heart that Ale found amusing or silly when she was younger. One of the great things about these young ladies is that they don’t take themselves too seriously. 😎

That was a nice reaction! I can see myself a few times in the video, I was there… this was maybe 45 minutes before the main show, only for some of the fans who booked this on Kickstarter three years ago… it was a gift! Their voices are absolutely amazing, even if they didn’t practice or prepare this acoustic set… it’s a pleasure to listen to them! Will see them again in April, on their Euro tour, can’t wait! For some context here, the UK fans had done a fundraiser pre pandemic to bring them to London for a private show, then everything got shutdown and they could only finally come to Europe last summer, so the fans had patiently waited for 3 years, but to the girls credit, even with their super busy European tour, they made time for this special show to thank the fans.
BTW another great acoustic show to react to is the one they did for the local rock radio station CHOM in Montreal. It is on TH-cam and called The Warning - Acoustic in Montreal @ChomRockRoom.
Also there is a very entertaining and informative interview that they did with Allison Hagendorf, which would be great to react to.

*U.K. Backstory:*
Back in 2019. The Warning held a Kickstarter Campaign (crowd funding) for studio (Error album) time & a (North American 2020) tour funds (at the time they was still an unsigned band). One of the rewards was for a private show in U.K. Like their private show at Whiskey A Go-Go in 2019 (Atlas Rise was the encore song).
Then, of course, COVID hit and suspended the U.K. show.
Then since signing with Lava. They put this private show on the burner until 2023. Where they could wrap this private concert with a tour of Europe.
This was pre show , and a make up meet n greet , they was playing a full show later that night
Pau is the only one who can call Ale a liar, and walk away breathing. 🤣

Dany, Pau and Ale are just so genuine and true people, they don't lie, they love to share their passion with their fans, no filter, nothing, just raw emotions shared with us.

This was a cool set. And when Dany said Shattered Heart was Ale's favorite she was joking because everyone thought she didn't like it. Just shows you need to be careful about stray comments because people will remember certain things forever, even if they're inaccurate.
Black Holes is such a gut wrenching song Pau gets me every time she sings it and this version was especially beautiful. This is a fun show that shows their personalities which I love. Thanks SueSue enjoyed this. 🤘⚡⚡⚡
I can't tell you how special this is. I really wish I was there.
Black Holes is about addiction, written by Pau at 13. Most of the songs they did are from their first full album. If you want to hear the songs as they were the recordings from Dakota Bar are the best I know of as far as the recordings. Of course a lot of their songs would sound quite a bit different with their more mature voices. As for vocal projection Dany has put in a lot of work in the last few years & Pau also. Ale not so much but she is about 5 years younger than Dany. By the time Ale turns 25 I expect all 3 to be world class vocalists. I'm also hoping that as they get bigger that they will incorporate more piano in their live shows similar to what Halestorm & Queen have done but with only the three of them they would pretty much have to write some songs specifically for that. Black Holes and Show Me the Light are two they have done in the past but not really able to do much of it as an opening band. When it's their own show that they are headlining there is more opportunity for that. During the lockdowns both Dany and Pau did a few piano numbers. I have a little hope that Ale will at least do a couple of instrumental numbers on the keys even though I think her voice is well suited to a piano number.
I love such special things, there should be more.
I think I heard Bonesy say “… ribcording”, not sure. Thought it was interesting to see them in this setting and interacting with each other. Glad you enjoyed it.

The acoustic show in Montreal radio station by Pau and Dany is much better, warm sisterly joking among playing more songs, Pau singing most of them as Dany is sick as was Ale.

Suggestion to look at the hit song the song Nobodys Wife at Pinkpop by Dutch artist Anouk in 1998 for 50.000 people which catapulted Anouk into stardom. The performance by Anouk at Pinkpop is also callled the Egg Incident which helped Anouk become even more famous. It is the way Anouk reacted when someone in the audience threw an egg on her t shirt while performing for 50.000 people at Pinkpop in 1998. Pinkpop is the oldest still existing music festival in the world founded right after Woodstock. Pinkpop is held every year in The Netherlands. Anouk had a record deal in the US as well but it fell threw due to an argument with the music producer otherwise Anouk would have been big in the US as well. Make sure to watch Nobodys Wife by Anouk at Pinkpop in 1998 that is when the egg incident happened which she handled like a boss.
