How can this be called best ending?, the world was consumed by the entity and the characters are now trapped in a endless cycle of life, death, unbalanced matches, pallets and more
it is a best ending for those who are trapped in Dead by Daylight but no ending is a Good Ending. There is no escape once the Entity has chosen to claim your soul and trap it in this game where the person must spend their entire existence entertaining the Entity.
This game don’t have a “Best Ending”, differently from other games like UD and Dark Pictures, this games exists in a Universe that we know that don’t have a good ending for your characters. In the end, this is the Best Ending because nobody dies and the entity can’t feed from the torment of their deaths for a while. At least, that is, until the trials…
@@jgawrebel121 Well the Entity already consumed their version of Earth in the Darkness anyways so there is no Good Endings no matter what. They lost the moment it all began. Now they are Dead by Daylight.

I would say Sam and Linda would be better as skins, and then have Jaime, Robert and maybe even Young Sam as skins for Sam whilst Linda gets Madi, Chris and maybe young Linda. Heck, throw in Stan for Sam and Bonnie for Linda if you want. It really fits together.
The best/true ending IMO is to NOT haggle with August for the camera & DON’T give Chris the necklace. This way she can force her way through that screen & ends up back where herself, Jamie & Linda are starting to film the film. This explains why she was sent to the future as although the current set of characters are trapped in that reality, there’s a possibility that Chris can create a new timeline whereby none of it happens
@@gussoliveit’s difficult to explain this in text format… essentially you DO NOT give Chris the mirror from the Curiosity Shop or the pendant when given the options. The old woman at the shop sets them up with the camera, which when they bring it to the mill. Something paranormal happens between the entity and frank stone when the camera is pointing at his corpse. Jamie, sam, Chris then find Franks victims stash. Sam warns them about the tampering the evidence and getting in trouble Chris takes the evidence, uses the camera on it, awakens frank and then kills Jamie depending on your choice My point is. The game. Could’ve done without the fricken generators and kept the story the same… but like The game just doesn’t feel like it’s finished? Like the story feels like it’s everywhere… all the endings are the same pretty much… entity kills everything but Chris goes back in time, but we don’t even know what that means, not explained. Cliff hanger dlc bs. Yeah f this game
Hopefully this will lead to a future update where we get to enjoy a nice handful of new content based on their side story. Frank could be a fun killer and we have some nice survivors here that could be playable. A nice way to have a big update for the game while we wait to see what FNAF does to this game next year.
3:14 ok I don't know if this is the next dbd killer, but it would be so cool if he was. His mori could be sucking someone in his stomach. I dont know what his power could be, but it's definitely something to do with teleporting through projector screens, but I really don't know. I know this isn't dbd, but the way this is played feels like he's the next dbd killer. What yall think?
If I remember right, there was a discarded mechanic where Survivors were at one point supposed to put parts in the generator. This explains why they scrapped it, in the event if they were to make this game in the future or not. Clever as shit
Great, If only they make a game about the trials, you know.. like a multiplayer game where you could even play as the sruvivros or the killer. A man can only wish..
What’d be even crazier is since this game hints at a multiverse, is if this hypothetical multiplayer game gets killers and survivors from other franchises into the trials. That would be truly spectacular
Technically, for anyone wondering, Chris can escape the entity by going through the movie screen (IF SHE DOES NOT HAVE the pendant or mirror. If she does, she burns in hellfire). However, in doing so she ends up creating a paradox as she meets eyes with her past self back when they were filming the movie in the mill. So yeah, there's basically no happy ending here, it's endless suffering, death or paradox.
I got goosebumps at the moment just before, when Augustine is talking about waking up in the Entity's realm while the beginning of the dbd theme plays. It's pretty hype
I would say this is an origin per say because the entity is a multiversal being that had been around for all of history and lasts deep into the future. This is more of the origin of theses characters and (potentially) their universe being taken o the realm.
@@flashergoldpower15 Not at all cause we know that Dwight, Claudette, etc weren´t the first ones to come to the realm. A lot of older survivors and killers that we didn´t even met are in the void for a long time ago.
I wouldn't really classify this as the "best ending." Not because the characters have to suffer an eternity of the Entity's trials, but because of Chris. Earlier in the game, you can choose to let Chris go back to her universe, which will save her from being abducted by the Entity at the end of the game. Now, I know a lot of people are talking about how, morally speaking, it's better for the characters to die than to be abducted since all they will know is suffering for the rest of incomprehensible eternity, and while I don't disagree with that, getting every character to survive will give you the "Entity Displeased" achievement. So if the Entity would've preferred all of the characters dying, I think the Entity being mildly inconvenienced is better than it getting what it wants.
It’s probably best to have her enter the screen so she can prevent the film from being recorded in the first place. That’s the best ending possible Sam dies, Chris enters the screen, so there’s a chance at film not being made
I cant believe the only person that lived for me was Chris, after i got Jaime, sam, and stan killed i thought the game was telling me to be selfish so i ended up getting madi and linda killed
"that's inhuman" she calmly proclaimed as she watched the nightmarish pile of flesh and bone monster, which is sticking out of a hellish portal devour her friend with a belly, twisted into a horrific mouth. You think, lady?
This game honestly makes the whole concept of time travel, other universes, and monsters super terrifying. Other ips that tackle the multiverse like marvel and dc, there’s always someone who can stop the bad guy, whether it’s a superhero or someone with loads of plot armor. But here, it’s just the humans and the monsters. No superhero to save them. And, there’s an infinite number of them across all timelines. It makes it feel that much more hopeless.
Augustine is a mere human and managed to alter countless timelines with her goal of summoning the entity, without a doubt there are other forces as powerful or even more than the entity itself, That have not yet been or will not be implemented in the DBD universe, I hope that something as big as the entity will emerge in the future.
To be honest, the True/best ending is sending Chris back to here time and having all the 1980s team survive. Then having Sam in 2024 be the only survivor. as most people haven't realized this, but in DBD 1, there was an event that ended with the survivors beating the entities game (well the other players sacrificed for the victory), but the player who one was playing as a cop character who looked similar and dressed like the Sam seen in the 2024 universe which was added into that game with an update that added a Mine that resembles the mine seen on the t-shirt in the archives titled "The Murder Mines" and the monster was called the Slicer because it had two swords and sliced things in half and also looked exactly like how Frank does in 2024 after stepping out of the screen. The thing is that the event involved the survivors needing to find all the note pages Augustine had on the Horologium scattered in each map one after another and then destroy the Horologium and escape through the portal it opened that would create a new multiverse without any entities and change the one thing about survivor that made it through the portal universe. So it changed a Mine into an old Steelmill. All of this is supported by him in other routes, knowing about things that would only be in an old mining facility, not to mention his body would have been made from the old Horologium, hence why he had headaches, body aches, and passed out in the hallway for a minute because he could feel the ritual happening. All of this is also why he looks like he's having PTSD after seeing a version of Frank looking like the slicer in the movie because he's remembering the mine and all of DBD 1. Not to mention, if Chris isn't there and is back in her time, he acts more in character with more cursoring and trying to beat open a gate. Whereas here, he only has a few moments, like when you distract Frank and he says hole in one, which is a line the cop would say whenever you avoided getting caught DBD. Also, he runs upstairs the same way the cop would, too. He's Sam Green, the hero of the original Cedar Hill who also stopped Frank Stone in the old mining facility. One could say he's the Sam Green; he just became less proper due to all the DBD stuff he's gone through. To be honest, it's messed up, really, cause like imagine you win the game and are granted a multiverse without monsters, only for the witch to come back and turn this new multiverse of yours into another DBD. The game shows he's the same character in any ending without Chris as he usually tells Mandie what they can do as if he's been through all of it before already, and the thing is, he knows he could leave them at any time as in the ending where only he survives he starts talking like the cop I mentioned with no filter and then instantly recognizes what's happening and goes to the mansion to use the notes from that event that he has in his diary to escape to another timeline where he doesn't exist and nor does any entity now that his perfect universe was destroyed. The point is he only stays to help everyone if they live because he's a good guy. However him being the only one left and leaving the timeline makes sense and keeps the lore of the universe together as the npc at the campfire are from DBD 2 not 1 and he was never in DBD 2 this way it acts like a prequel DBD 2.
@@Vynne96-jg7er The definition of subjective: based on or influenced by personal feelings, tastes, or opinions. That means the ending you call canon is also subjective, which is what I was saying. Now, have a good day.
Somehow I still got the Entity Displeased trophy despite Sam dying in the current timeline.Tho he did survive and saved Jaime and Linda in the 80s timeline. And I chose to send Chris back to the 80s by going thru the screen.
Linda: "What is that?" Sam: "That... is Frank Stone." That moment always gives me goosebumps. Honest to God I really hope they eventually give us a Frank Stone chapter, with The Champion as a killer, Madi, Linda, Sam, and Chris as survivors/legendary skins, and the Cedar Steel Mill as a map. Honestly, it would make for a perfect 10 Year Anniversary chapter.
Here's what I'm thinking! - The best ending is actually to kill everyone before the campfire scene! So the main cast doesn't reach campfire and be tortured by The Entity for full eternity!
I would imagine it’s similar to Spirit and Sadako. He can manifest from celluloid and the survivors would be able to banish him for 3 seconds with an 8mm camera. The idea needs fine tuning but it could be fun.
All i see is DLC skins for Meg,Adam,Kate,Zarina and Haddie asking questions at the campfire. And Frank stone as a new killer since trappers has the human version of him. XD
It makes me think, when Madi & Sam made it to the campfire in the end & met up with Linda & Chris, does that allude to those two already having completed a trial thus why they've accepted their fate? God, the world of Dead by Daylight really is torturous & is a fate worse than death. (Especially with how unbalanced the actual games is lol)

I would consider the ending where Chris goes back in time the best ending. If nothing else one person manages to escape and the best scenario she could stop everything from happening.
Thinking about it, it would be interesting if his power revolved around being able to appear out of seemingly nowhere, and survivor’s only counter play to him involved old cameras.
For those who are wondering how this is the best ending when Stan literally dies 2 minutes in, Stan is quite literally unsaveable. If you pull him out, Frank goes after someone else (either Linda, or Madi if Madi has the necklace), and even then he STILL DIES. He goes to the third gate no one else went to and fails to open it.
Yes If you succed that skill check, you "save" Stan But then Frank grabs Linda, and either she dies or Sam saves Linda by sacrificing himself After that, Stan dies anyways, so... There is no point in saving him, since it just causes another person to die without a chance to save them
Fun Fact: Blacksmith’s Hammer is a purple add-on for Knight. It causes any survivor that is injured by one of his guards to become Broken for 60 seconds.
Which is also just a theory, because since Sam saves the baby in 1963, we have already seen the presence of the entity in that universe, so probably the entity would not be prevented from invading the universe, Because she was in it from the beginning.
Theyre gonna bully that killer for all eternity. I mean to get that ending you basically bully him throughout the campagn so its safe to say they got a pretty solid squad
Was the Sam in 2024 being a different same ever really get explained? Do I just assume he also used the portal. And was the infant at the beginning really irrelevant?
I think the infant was just a offering to the entity and Sam in other endings uses the portal to save himself indicating that it´s not the first time he travels other universes.
The baby is Jaime. If you screw up and he dies as a baby in 63, Sam comments to Linda in 2024 he doesn't know who tf Jaime is. Because his version of Jaime died back in 63. If Jamie dies in 1980 Sam will comment when saving Robert & Linda, that "Looks like Frank finally got him." If you find Frank's diary in his hideout, he lists the initials of all his victims and the baby's initials are J.R. no matter what Frank has some weird obsession with Jamie & will always focus/tunnel him which can get Jaime killed if you're not careful. Also old Sam in 2024 is indeed another variant of Sam from a different timeline. If you search Sam's diary you learn Augustine is in the Black Vale cult. With Sam being in the opposing one Imperiatti. Sam has a benefactor helping him jump timelines trying to stop Augustine.
Yes, Sam in 2024 is the same Sam as from 1963 in the prologue, with 1980 Sam being a different version. As a member of the Imperiati, he knows about The Entity and the different terras, and is familiar with devices lil the Horologium, using them to move between realities. This is how Augustine was able to get Murder Mill from hundreds of different worlds
The setting is simply terrible. Time travel can actually be invented. The video recorder sealed Stone is suspected of plagiarizing the Japanese game Zero. They can completely let Stone's soul possess a certain character, such as Sam's son, and then let the son grow up. Later, they came to the castle to resurrect Stone's soul. The time-traveling Chris can be set to express through Maddie's body. A cult's horror setting turned into a science fiction-like time-travel. It's so ridiculous.
Augustine is cursed in every dimension to serve the entity. Just dying and being reborn again and again. Whoever survives the mansion becomes the new set of survivors once the entity has arrived fully in said dimension. The entity aint no joke
Well Chris doesn't need to make it to the fire for the true ending, she can enter the screen Frank came through so long as she doesn't have the pendant or mirror on her and escape back to an alternate past, it's only the main four that have to make it.
Honestly, i wouldnt say Chris being there is good. If she returned to her own time, it'd at least create an alternate universe in which she stopped the production of Murder Mill, severing an entire universe from The Entity's reach. That is the only better ending than this one.
Can someone explain what happened with Augustine at the very end? IMO it's a flashback to where she and the old version swapped places, and the old lady stayed to be the antiques shop vendor?
It’s how Augustine has “lived for centuries” taking versions of herself from different realities and taking over their bodies so she can live forever, until she becomes old/dies and switches again
I think Tryxs made him lose what little sanity he had left with that scene of incomprehensible monsters celebrating a bloody birthday party. It’s hinted he ran out of the tower in a panicked state never to be seen again. Now the tower is waiting for its next master. Considering he’s the only person who knows how to operate the Auris, it’s currently unknown who is looking at the memories of survivors and killers
Tbf we know what happened - he was from a world that tried to fight The Entity but lost. One of the “anti-entity” devices they made was the Auris, capable of seeing into memories. From his tower in the Realm, the Observer used it to try and find a way out. Eventually, The Entity drives him to insanity and he is cast to The Void. While there, he carved the nine symbols of Vigo into a growth in an attempt to escape, but actually seems to have caused the huge growth on MacMillan and started the 2023 Haunted by Daylight event
If we get a Frank Stone chapter I feel like itll just be the normal 1 survivor which is Augustine and the killer of course Frank Stone, I honestly hope 2 maps both Ceder Mill and the Manor, and legendary skins of the characters for Dwight, Claudette, Meg, and Jake, or just any 4 survivors that can fit. But I also think we could get each character minus Stan as their own survivors as if you help Chris get back to her time the 4th survivors is a silhouette of Claudette as what i seen but could be any survivor don't know yet. Also maybe the teens from the mill could also be legendary skins which I think might happen.
While i still believe it was a good game in its own right, theres many glaring issues with it. The decisions in this game are literally set up to make you fail. While the previous games in this genre gave you tips and hints for you to suceed. But it is based on Dead by Daylight and ive learned anything from that is that you arent gonna survive every round of dbd, living up to its name i guess. Theres also a few plot holes that dont get answered.
When frank will no doubtlessly eventually make it into the game, what will his power be? and how will it work? After seeing him in action I have a feeling his power will have something to do with either absorbing people or capturing them and holding them within himself
It's not entirely clear. Maybe certain rituals bring about the end of a world (such as here), or sometimes communities (such as "Roots of Dread" dlc for DBD), and sometimes it's just the one individual. Depends on how much purchase the Entity can get. As an example of this not happening, Alan Wake os abducted whilst trying to wrote himself out of the Dark Place. His universe is canon to DBD's, and Alan escapes back into his world after 15 years away. However, time is different in all these realms, and 15 years away could have been many lifetimes, including many years trapped by the Entity. It's very open to interpretation. That's what I like about this.

Where can I find this alternate ending? Is there a video here?
@@gussoliveit’s difficult to explain this in text format… essentially you DO NOT give Chris the mirror from the Curiosity Shop or the pendant when given the options. 23:22 Huge goosebumps lol. Thanks for the upload brotha
I got goosebumps at the moment just before, when Augustine is talking about waking up in the Entity's realm while the beginning of the dbd theme plays. It's pretty hype
So the entire origin of dead by daylight
Ohhhhh thanks for clearing this up 💯🫨😅
I would say this is an origin per say because the entity is a multiversal being that had been around for all of history and lasts deep into the future. This is more of the origin of theses characters and (potentially) their universe being taken o the realm.
Yeah, basically shows how the entity takes worlds and makes them part of it’s realm
It seems like to me this is a origin story of how it all began
That’s the best ending possible Sam dies, Chris enters the screen, so there’s a chance at film not being made
It feeds off suffering, death is just the desert

You think, lady?
This game honestly makes the whole concept of time travel, other universes, and monsters super terrifying. Other ips that tackle the multiverse like marvel and dc, there’s always someone who can stop the bad guy, whether it’s a superhero or someone with loads of plot armor. But here, it’s just the humans and the monsters. No superhero to save them. And, there’s an infinite number of them across all timelines. It makes it feel that much more hopeless.
Well, just as the entity exists and is a very powerful god, there are certainly other powerful beings and perhaps even more powerful than the entity.
Augustine is a mere human and managed to alter countless timelines with her goal of summoning the entity, without a doubt there are other forces as powerful or even more than the entity itself, That have not yet been or will not be implemented in the DBD universe, I hope that something as big as the entity will emerge in the future.
23:28 that is completely spine-chilling.

“The nemesis with that goofy ahh running animation using tinkerer”

No...just me okay 😂
My first playthrough, Madi got ate, Stan got cleavered, Linda got Jokered, Chris went back in time, and Sam went into the machine
The only good ending is the one when Chris goes through the screen. She can stop Augustine and save all the characters from this nightmare
Which is also just a theory, because since Sam saves the baby in 1963, we have already seen the presence of the entity in that universe, so probably the entity would not be prevented from invading the universe, Because she was in it from the beginning.
I bet you the music in the sequence is going to be his bold and Chase music 😂😂😂
Theyre gonna bully that killer for all eternity. I mean to get that ending you basically bully him throughout the campagn so its safe to say they got a pretty solid squad
Was the Sam in 2024 being a different same ever really get explained? Do I just assume he also used the portal. And was the infant at the beginning really irrelevant?
I love the mental image that killing the infant has actually no story presence, its just to determine whos the baby killers
I'm pretty sure the Sam we see in 2024 is not the same Sam from 1980, but he's not necessarily native to the 2024 universe. If that makes sense.
Whatever ending you get is bad because the world was consumed by the entity
And then they get a friendly killer and have a nice break farming bloodpoints lol. Happy ending
Black hole sun, won't you come and wash away the rain? Black hole sun, won't you come, won't you come...
Well Chris doesn't need to make it to the fire for the true ending, she can enter the screen Frank came through so long as she doesn't have the pendant or mirror on her and escape back to an alternate past, it's only the main four that have to make it.

Your videos are the epitome of quality and style. I look forward to each new release!🐥🥪🍓
She probably was revived to continue serving the entity. Or maybe because shes also trapped in the loop of the trials

I didn’t get it. Not their best game.
This gave me the chills
Now there needs to be a game like this where it's centered around The Observer and how he came to be that as well as where he's gone.
Technicaly speaking, it's the worst outcome, dying is better than getting trapped inside the realm of the Entity.
Honestly game looks solid
There is no such thing as a best ending in the DBD world, the entity consumed the world.
When frank will no doubtlessly eventually make it into the game, what will his power be? and how will it work? After seeing him in action I have a feeling his power will have something to do with either absorbing people or capturing them and holding them within himself
So is every world that the entity takes a killer or survivor, that world gets devoured by the entity?
I really hope we get bonnie as a skin, she's my fav
So basically this ending signifies their souls being trapped in the Dead by daylight game for real now, only to entertain the entity??
