It will be interesting to see if Quimbley's can get Hyperspace and the other stuff to market. I actually liked the idea of Hyperspace with acrylic pieces, but since I didn't back it on KS, it would hardly matter to me. I hope they are successful at getting this stuff to backers.
Putting a plant or any item on top of a mini split may block air flow and could cause the unit to leak. Does not happen every time but I though you should know.
How can something been stolen when the creators have always paid homage to Beserk and stated that it was an inspiration? I think you are selling APG short here - its not like they ever claimed everything they created was fresh.
Yeah don't read too into semantics here. If I felt they literally "stole" stuff I'd have a very different way of speaking about it. I simply meant there are tons of cool stuff in Berserk and.thatbifnyou like KDM style then there will be lots on this you will like too. :)
I was really looking forward to Okko Chronicles: Cycle of Earth, but it's not looking likely that The Red Joker will deliver at all! Sure would be nice to get an actual update on the situation...
Surprised you covered Tsukuyumi. As a backer of 2.0 I can say that the minis are pretty garbage tier. I'm torn on whether to back. On one hand, in theory it will "fix" all the defects and issues with 2.0 but...on the other hand....throwing more money at the problem is kinda annoying. I really wish GreyFox were not involved but at least this time King Raccoon say they're going to keep a tight leash on them (since all the production issues in 2.0 were due to GFG not doing due diligence with their QA of the MPC)
It's been over 7 months since the last update from The Red Joker about their Okko Chronicles: Cycle of Earth KS. Any plans to find out WTH is going on? Most of your investigations into shady actions by board game companies are rather harsh, but it seems like you put the extra soft gloves on when questioning The Red Joker. Why haven't you followed up?
I backed blood, really looking forward to this, and I will 100% be into Terrorscape, I backed it last time and it was well worth the money, Ice Makes ran a fantastic campaign, but it did go sideways when it came to fulfillment, I hope they learnt some lessons. The sundrops a bit weird though, I wont be buying that as I painted all the minis up pretty quickly and will do so with new stuff.
I don't trust Monolith with anything since they screwed over everyone who bought Orcquest Warpath by not including any campaign guidelines and not balancing the game so you can play it through start to finish without becoming massively overpowered. They've been promising to publish these guidelines ever since they delivered the game in October 2023. Their last update was during their Conan campaign when people were complaining on the GF page, so Monolith promised the guidelines would be published the next month. That was over 3 months ago and they've been silent ever since. Monolith is also facing backlash because their delivery of Batman Season 3 is riddled with problems including: missing stretch goals, missing content, items promised as single sided end up being double sided, English rulebook is literally half French, numerous errors in reference cards, etc...
hey compared to their former bosses at mythic they're still doing well. Oh and 7th Citadel for the price was also a pathetic showing in terms of component quality. Meanwhile Red Joker are also doing very poorly. Is there a single decent french company left in the board game space? Feels like an instant red flag if its a french dev.
@@ellyari I am really hoping that SOMEHOW The Red Joker still delivers Okko Chronicles: Cycle of Earth, but they've been silent for over 6 months, so it's not looking good.
do you actually have Batman:GCC3S? I got mine and except for being packed poorly by their shipper, everything was fine. On their discord and their CS email, they are addressing the missing items. I have Conan and Batman all ins. Both are dual language. All of the emails from them are in 2 languages. I'm still waiting for my Dungeon Universalis that got damaged and lost in shipping with UPS.
This is not related to this video but I hope/wish SFG would do something with monsterpocalypse. Maybe throw a bone to backers of the mythic tragedy. High hopes and wishful thinking. What's your opinion KoA??
@williamblack6912 you're right, I thought I remember seeing the logo on 1st announcement and just went and double checked. Still, wishful thinking though.
The new monster in blood looks very much like a monster in beserk...name is Miura and looks a lot like zodd
We're so incredibly excited for Berserk!
Me too!
I am worried people are not ready for the games themes. How do you bring the Eclipse scenes into that board game lol.

keep at it you are appreciated in the space and appreciate the work you do for the community. Thank you for the video
Thank you Shawn! :) I am happy to hear it helps
As always thank you so much for your coverage of the board game space. We appreciate you!
Will you be doing a deep dive into Blood, either first impressions or gameplay review?
Always wondered why nobody ever made a Berserk board game, hope it does the IP (enough) justice!
You dropped that Berserk news and I couldn't click fast enough
@@robertmcrae3443 hah right?! I'm excited for a Guts mini and so many others

Yeah the word stolen is a bit misinformed. That implies they took entire concepts wholesale, which isn’t exactly the case.
Yeah that was a really poor take by KoA
Why be so sensible about this? Of course it's just a way of speaking, it's not really stolen...

Thanks for the news video
Curious how the partnership with Quimbleys will go. Peterson games designs some good stuff but really has struggled on the business side
What if we already bought fancy storage for Tsuku... upgrading forces vets into paying for all new boxes and gametrayz. Noah is the clear winner here.
Any News regarding Red Joker / Okko ?
Upcoming games I am very interested in the story of many.
Still no news from Red Joker about Okko Chronicles. They have been silent for more than 6months...

+1
Nice. You should check out the Story of Many, Lands of Evershade and Varhode. Great upcoming board games if you like lots of narrative adventures.

Pretty crazy any game needs a 2.5 as it still has problems. Perhaps wait for the 3.2 fix? :P
In fairness, this is a 3 group project between the designer, Grey Fox Games and Game Trayz. So hopefully all being heavily involved will help.
Check out Trench Crusade :)
Thank you for the fundraiser update. Take your time ☺️
I'm sorry it's not swifter. I hope it, and these other issues are resolved soon and life can be normal again.

Imagine playing Berserk and placing the horse miniature down on the table. 😎
Weirdo
Should talk about the Crit Awards and their proud anti semitic, racist, and exclusionary policies.

Steamforged didn't buy Monsterpokalypse that is still with privateer press.

NO mythic games no upset feeling
Haha well good :D
But there was no Zombicide
True, but blame CMON for that not me :P
