I also had ritz diesel and yes 2k rpm at 80kmph is correct. But for a diesel that is too muchh. Like it redlines around 4700-800 and already idling at 2k in just 80. Because of 5 speed gearbox rpm stays high. But in petrol specially 1.2 it runs 2k rpm at 100 with maximum limit of 6000-6500rpm. So the 1.2 petrol marutis are tall geared. Whereas 1.5 brezza xl6 and all stays at 2.5k rpm at 80 and 3k at 100

If you are a single man and looking for extra 2-3 km/l mileage, then go for Swift. Also consider how much space you have in your house to park the vehicle. you are driving alone.please do a test with full load of 5 person with AC on. I have got 16.7 kmpl with the full load condition.30% city and 70 % Highway.

Tank full karake pura khali hone par phir bharao jab car kareeb 650- 700 km chal chuki hogi - cruise control driving / city driving / kharab roads / AC ke saath sab mila ke phir tank bhar ke check karo. Mileage 22-23 kmpl ke aas pass hi hoga. 25 ke upar ka mileage aapko tab hi milega jab aap pura ka pura 650-700 km highway par sirf cruise control par hi chalaoge. Swift hi nahi kisi bhi gaadi mein aisa hi hoga
