I understand Asir bro difficulty, he is loving Maruti only because of the refined 4 cylinder engine, now they have downgraded to 3 cylinder engine and increased price, every one looking for build quality but maruti is convincing that they increased 3Km mileage, now people started silent panic, everything as of now, To discuss further we have to test drive and check handling, refinement and fuel efficiency, so that will give real feedback

People have to understand the difference between podcast and a company invited review..
In a company invited review event which the big you tubers do it is impossible to criticize or point out the negatives of the said product as in such cases the company provides tickets, accommodation and food for such events.. how can anyone do harsh criticism after enjoying that hospitality.. without the fear of not being invited for the next launch event.
In podcasts there is absolutely no restriction like that...

All I can say as a long listener to this podcast content is that I learned a lot about the automobile industry and learn what to expect from different types of offerings from a brand and what could have been better.

I have seen the Swift Reviews which are already revealed Globally... The engine feels smooth and no much noise as per 3 cylinder standards... But don't know how it will feel for India... And I feel definitely it will get 4 star safety rating beacuse the same product is retained as global swift.. Fingers crossed

I don’t agree. First of all we should drive and see the new swift how it feels. I guess The new Z series engine will match the driving experience of the current Baleno engine.

The new Z12E engine has a new cooling system. Has better acceleration than third gen 4 cylinder Swift. Has more efficiency than the previous K12 engine. It is yet to be tested On-Road. But this Z12E is manufactured in Maruti Suzuki Gujarat Plant and exported abroad.

Extremely agree. Me being a swift fan right from 1st gen was extremely disappointed about the launch event. But the good thing is that they have bought the global product as it is without much revisions so waiting for the drive review and test drive.

Im having a doubt. I thought to buy a sonet diesel htk. is it good for short rides and only weekend usage ? Any problem will come if i keep idle for 5 days continuously? Diesel will be banned in future ? If yes then what will happen to existing diesel owners. Which variant is best in sonnet 65% city usage 35% highway usage(weekend trips) kindly reply @motowagon

We own a 3rd Gen Swift bought in 2018 and its so good luv it totally and its Hassle free ❤
Official brochure says 60kw power which translates to 80hp and 111nm torque. Figures have gone down!
Also kerb weight is published as 925kgs.

New Podcast needed - What my doubt is, even though people know about the drawbacks in Maruti, still it dominates the Indian market. My request is how is Maruti able to do this and what other manufacturers should do to overcome this monopoly in the Indian market. Only then the competition will be good and also market will grow to better standards.
I have first generation swift 1.3 VXI G series engine Still performance very good and handling
I could prefer Baleno/Glanza in lieu of Swift for 20-30k more, particularly the K12C engine is a Gem
Glanza is more priced than baleno
I'm not sure about hybrid na , maybe if it's come in future this is suitable for Hilly or city roads for better fuel efficiency and instant pickup environment friendly also, but plain road I don't know how it works because maintenance is a common problem,note it's only my opinion 😅

70% of people does not wants improved suspension, driving dynamics and steering feedback... Swift will not be that worst as alto and other entry level coloirs..but you guys only speak about the 20% who are enthusiasts. I would agree with Dani the good things of the car may be left un spoken...When you guys review I would ask you to review considering different people mindset... Now a days cars are improving in such a way that they can be driven only in tracks, removing all comforts... One request is you guys when you do the drive reviee please do it thinking of city usage not as track usage... We are commom people driving the car with elder people, commute with in rural areas 😀

Make a video with a title “ launch of a car/ face lift/ generation increases the sales of its competitors model”. Swift 2024 will increase the sales of i10 nios and Tiago. Like Exter launch has increased the sales of Tata punch. Earlier punch was selling 6000 units .after Exter launch see the month on month figures of exter and punch sales. Punch has crossed 15000 units, double the Exter sales now.
Newer marutis are crash tested in their new research centre facility to make it 4-5 star equivalent before they sent it to BNCAP.Newer maruti products are safer than hyundai korean tincans😄.
Truly disappointed with the new swift. Mainly in the safety area.reviewers are saying that nothing changed in terms of body weight,panel quality etc. so that's it.the interior looks good,engine change is not a big issue as their 3 cylinders are as refined as 4 cylinder. But i was expecting an increase in body shell thickness and toughness as the increased weight can be managed by a lighter engine,so overall weight won't be changed much. Either tata should work on their engines or maruthi and hyundai should work on safety and shell integrity with ride comfort and handling.😮💨

As said in the launch event, this is specifically for a different set of people who want a peppy comfortable ride that suits both city and highway usage.. There is no point in speaking in enthusiastic aspects... There is no car that exists which would attract all the customers...This is not the car that will attract the nline customers and it doesn't have to happen...
