I think people will start to REALLY appreciate The Miz once he's done with wrestling. Feels like he's always been there. He's done almost everything there is to do
I see more people appreciating The Miz now. The Awesome Truth is so over right now.
Almost is right. King of the Ring would have been great for The Miz, but would be unnecessary at this point of his career!
The Miz on the daily can cut promos so good that other wrestlers cant make in their peak, the guy is a legend and one of the best performers on the mic from his generation.
Facts he knows how to cut promos
And he's durable in the ring
He's also an underrated in ring performer. Yes he's safe to avoid major injuries, but he can put on a decent to good match with just about anybody. He's not the best in the world but he's reliable to put on a good show
Dude got bullied stayed strong and stayed wrestling now the dude has a beautiful wife, long career, championships, Future Hall of famer. Dude also put over many people without saying anything.
Legit just starring at people and the crowd would react.
Sheamus. Dolph Ziggler. Kofi Kingston. Miz.
I think these are the guys who, in some years later, people will regard them as the underrated workhorses of the 2010's. Always there to deliver, yet never truly appreciated for their contributions.
Especially Dolph Ziggler and Miz who were gatekeepers for new talents.
@@ChrisJericho22 gatekeepers as in not letting others to grow?
@@renevgarcia7 I think he meant they the gates for others, weird wording.
@@renevgarcia7they did let others grow?
Sheamus was newer underated
Crazy, when I used to watch Miz on MTV Real World and I BELIEVED him every time he would say he was gonna be a wwe or wwf Star. I am damn PROUD of this dude
As a kid, I couldn’t stand the Miz, but now, I can say he’s earned his place as a legend in wwe.
Im glad people are finally coming around to appreciate the miz. He was soooo good as a heel that he became an impossible baby face. Much like randy orton. However after a whole generation has grown up. They are so fond of their work ethic and sheer effort in the bussiness that theyve hit that golden status. Where despite what they do. People appreciate and love them for their person. Not their character.
True legend. One of the best midcarters in history, and that is not said to diminush his value. Not too many can do the job he does with the passion he does with. He truly loves his job. He didnt fill too many covers of them magazines, but he does the nasty quiet job like a true megastar. He is the guy that does 90% of the group proyect and dosent tell the teacher. True legend. I love his work and his ethic. Great asset on any company.
Once his in ring career is over, he'll be a first ballot hall of famer.
I literally waited years with hopes that Awesome Truth would get back together, and not only did i get that at Wrestlemania 40, they won the tag team gold they deserved back in their first run....I was so damn happy 😅😅
He is a legend. Facts no cap.
I do not consider Miz a Legend
@@patrickperalta59 That just means you are wrong. Legend-someone very famous and admired, usually because of their ability in a particular area. The definition fits because The Miz is most definitely someone very famous and admired, because of their ability in the ring and on the mic.
@@eroccha it depends on the fan if you like him great.....but I do not like him and have never been a fan of him or his work...anytime he is on TV I just skip past it... in my opinion he is not a legend and never will be.......thanks for your thoughts on the matter have a nice day.
@@patrickperalta59 The problem is you liking him doesn't determine a legend. He is famous which is not disputable. He is admired clearly from everyone else's comments here. Those 2 things are true due to his ability in the ring and on the mic. According to the definition he is a legend. Your opinion can't change it. You are just wrong. You can, not like Babe Ruth but he is still a legend. I hate Tom Brady but he is a legend.
@@eroccha to everyone else MIZ might be a legend but that does not mean I agree with it.......that is the difference....and to me my opinion on him is only thing that matters to me.......I do not care what others think.
Hes a legend… those intercontinental champ runs are Goated
When people ask me who my favorite wrestlers are, The Miz is always up there... He's consistently been a character that can get a rise out of any crowd and his work ethic is amazing. He honestly deserves a premier hall of fame induction
He’s done wayyy more for the business than Batista has ever done in my opinion. That’s because Dave loves making movies. And I can’t be mad at that.
From watching him on the Real World , thought he was a joke...inspirational seeing his dream come to fruition...miz for hof
I think this was one of theee best videos of a superstars in ring journey I have ever seen. The Miz, in my estimation will always be the most underrated just of where he came from. I have followed him from his Real World days and his journey in the WWE (I stopped watching for a few years in the mid 2000’s) but his career will def be a first ballot HOFer!! Thanks for this video!!
Mid 2000s was my favorite period of WWE. I lost interest in early 2010s and just now I have Peacock and I watch NXT and the Premium Live events.
Talk about a man who has earned everything. He also seems like a really cool person.
Miz is my faveroute of all time since i got into wwe in 2016 glad hes getting the recognition he deserves
Underrated completely underrated he’s one of the greats
The miz has been and will always be my favorite superstar 🔥
Most underrated legend is an underrated understatement. edit: btw this channel has some incredible thumbnails, just saying
He need more credit like this when I tell people he’s my favourite wrestler they’re always confused and this video perfectly explains why his discipline to crafting his character and the effort he puts into his work speaks for itself
He's really had an incredible career and is a two time grand slam champion. Indeed he's very underrated and honestly I will miss him once he hangs up the boots ❤🐐. Good on the mic and safe to work with in the ring because he's never injured anyone in his career and that's huge 🔥🤝
I didn't care for the Miz when i first saw him. I like him. He has grown on me quite a bit!!!
I love miz, his match with seth rolllins at backlash was the best match I've ever seen. He's one of the most underrated wrestlers in the world today,
The Miz has always been my favorite....
I remember quoting him in my yearbook in my high school years....i always believed in him and i relate to him so much
A future hall of famer
Miz the goat for sure some may like him others might not but you gotta give bro credit what he did in the wrestling business
The Miz has always been my favorite ever since his ECW days. It’s amazing seeing how much he’s achieved in his career and I’m glad people are finally giving him his flowers. Also I’m glad you talked about Miz’s 9 minute tag title with John Cena because people always leave that belt out when talking about the belts Miz and Cena have won.
The Miz is one of the most underrated superstars in WWE history. People say Dolph Ziggler deserved to be world champion but so did The Miz and I hope before he breaks Chris Jericho's record for the most Intercontinental Championship reigns before he retires.
i’ve for some reason have always liked the miz
If u are a heel and people have a strong hate for u. You are doing your job right . The Miz is and always will be remembered as one of the greatest heels in WWE history.
We love The Miz around here
Super glad he was rewarded with the WWE title push back in 2011
He’s a legend, he’s one of the most professional and safe wrestlers of all times. And he’s just a best entertainer in general, he’s so slept on. I hope he had a legendary run before he’s done.
The Miz made me start to watch the wwe back in 2010 from his promos
This was a great video. As a long time fan of the Miz it is great to see him get the respect he deserved. He wanted this and worked hard to get it. He's always done whatever was asked of him and done it well. Always entertaining and someone who understands how to make the time you get count.
Going 20 years in any company is tough, going 20 years in WWE is incredible. They are always looking for younger, faster, up and coming talent and to hold your spot for that long is quite the achievement.
Hall of Famer without question because he is The Miz and he's AWESOME!
It's nice to see someone go after, and then live their childhood dream.
The Miz is my favorite superstar. His story is incredible.
I absolutely love the miz, wasn't a fan when I was younger but he's put in the work
Man, the Miz and John Morrison were such a great tag team, loved those days
Have been waiting on this for a long time thank you
Miz to me, feels like the JBL of his generation. Not in the fact that they're character is similar or anything but more the fact they're the dudes that when their said and done you kind of realise how much they're character being there to put the "big" stars over actually did for the company. Like JBL's reign with his "cabinet" and matches against Eddie and the Undertaker and stuff like that just led to so much good stuff and the Miz is like that. The guy that's credible enough for a big name to go over and can turn a transitional title run into a proper storyline.
Him cutting that drunk promo on himself im the mirror was amazing
Tbh I didn’t really like him in the start of his career, but now I think he is so underrated for what he does for the WWE. Started to appreciate what he does alot more then I did that’s for sure.
I remember his reality TV start and its great to see him be recognized after putting in the work.
Growing up I always loved the miz ik he was a heel a lot but to me his entrance im awesome chants even his promos were amazing to me he deserves more respect for the work he’s done and amazing story’s he gave us
absolutely the most underrated WWE wrestler. And my personal favorite wrestler. He is the reason I am a wrestling fan. I was switching around tv in late 2015, came across raw, where he was talking, switched on...and switched back, because somehow, the person I had just switched away from had a weird kind of charisma going. I was curious, watched the segment, the rest of the show...and found it mildly entertaining, having no real idea of wrestling yet, and who was who. But I was intruiged, watched again next week, and there he was again, and once again, captivating and charismatic...and I took a liking to him. I ended up watching my first PPV in january, with the royal rumble that saw styles debut, and after that, I stayed, to watch WWE...in 2016. What many consider one of the best years it had in the past decade. Among other reasons also thanks to Miz, and his fantastic intercontinental championship run. That title run was awesome, as was that talking smack segment...I was there for that. And I knew I had just seen something people will remember. And I think that was the moment when some people finally started to respect him, too. And I was there to see it. It was great. Definitely a future hall of famer, and one of the biggest wins for WWE, ever.
Admittedly, I initially had a strong dislike for Miz since his wwe start. His portrayal as a heel was exceptionally effective, making it challenging to tolerate his presence on screen. However, as time passed, I grew to appreciate and respect his talent. He has truly proven himself to be an outstanding performer
Im a miz fan. Over his time in the WWE he has shown his talent and longevity.
Wow, thanks for making this video. The Miz quickly became my second favourite superstar of all time, after that 2016 ic championship run. I desperately want him to turn heel and win another ic title (or maybe a major title, figers crossed) in the future. A person who is basically everything that WWE is, what seperates WWE from New Japan or AEW. For some this is a good thing, for some this is bad thing, but seeing I am WWE fan and I am fan of the WWE style of "sports entertainment" the Miz will forever remain Mr. WWE for me. The story of Mike is an underdog story and I am so happy for him. He comes across as a down-to-earth kinda guy and kinda an inspiration, his advice from his session in the Celtic Warrior Workout channel halped me a ton. So overall thank you for making this, it was awesome
Him n his wife's run was great was pretty hard to like him but looking back it was great he's put on stellar matches put over stars n never gets stale or boring
One of the safest wrestlers to work with
People are gonna say always miz is this miz is bad
But when miz retires an hangs up those boots everyone will say
He’s the miz
An He is Awesome
The actual GOAT of PG ERA
Like he is the one I will POP
For a return from PG ERA
Him and Randy Orton
Miz’s best work came after he was a “legitimate” main carder. In 2016 as a true veteran he was doing great stuff with the IC title, and even last year in 2023 his work helping build guys like Gunther and LA Knight was phenomenal and really helped those guys while solidifying his legacy. He’s done a hell of a lot for WWE, and that’s why he’s a heel that you love to hate these days despite being a change the channel main eventer back in 2011.
I hated the Miz as a child but I've grown to respect him as an adult. Truly a legend in his own right.
I remember when he cut that promo on talking smack. That changed my opinion on Miz, he's not a technical wizard but damn does he have the personality and charisma of a main eventer. He's probably responsible for the IC Title not being deactivated in the mid to late 2010's.
Miz has had such a great career that when he gets inducted into the HOF he should be the headliner
Huge miz-fan right here 👍
And now miz is doing some of his best work with Awesome-Truth ❤
Miz truly is awesome.
Everyone been hating on the miz for years but fact is day in day out he's gives 100%. Hes consistent funny and can be serious when he needs to.He may not be a high flyer or a heavyweight doesn't mean he can't be a top player. His 2 reigns were earned and if you say otherwise you are biased asf
Need one last heel run where Miz goes MJF and plays a next layered villain with the best promos coming for Cody. I can see babyface Cody vs Heel Miz being generational if he is actually pushed and given something substansive to work with. Need one last WWE Championship run where he actually gets to be the champion before he retires.
Great on the mic, super valuable for the mid card, super durable, great ambassador for the brand.
The Miz is one of those guys that you love to hate. He's the perfect every man wrestler that you can put in the ring with anyone and you get a good match.
He still in wwe roster speaks volume
Not only that, a current champion with truth
I know this probably got cut because of video time... But Miz winning all the Survivor series team matches also helped build his Legacy and helped show him as a Team Player. I believe its genuinely something that helped turn the locker rooms opinion of him around.
The Miz is not underrated, because he is AWESOME!
He worked his buns off and he put time in the rain training training training. Hats off to him!!!
I'm one of the people that couldn't stand the Miz. Not because he was a bad guy, it was go away heat. Around the end of 2016 and start of 2017 I started to really appreciate his work. During Sandow's stunt double work I was gaining interest. The back and forth with Dolph Ziggler really made me think. Going off on Brian Danielson and the feud with John Cena really did it for me. I realized he was as good as his character confidence!
100% HALL OF FAMER... As soon as he decides it's time to retire!!!
As a cena fan i hated him in the ring during the WWE champion period of his around wrestlemania 27, which is a testament to his work as a heel but I loved the slam attax card I had with Miz 99 rating. Really grew to appreciate him over the years.
The Miz is the goat and finally his getting the recognition the first time I saw him I loved him
Very underrated he is the best heel of our time. An excellent in ring performer. One of the best overall performer.
Answering the question at the beginning, YES. I'm biased. I've been a miz from day one. My friends used to bate me all the time about it but the boy done me proud. I'd love to shake his hand and say thanks 🤝 because those were some good conversations and banter
I came around as a fan midway through his WM27 match around the time the crowd got behind him.
Give miz a world heavyweight championship run
Never forgot Miz was changing my mind and i was finally starting to put respect on his name for how good of an obnoxious heels was. And im thinking to myself one night waiting for wrestling to come on and im like you know i think the miz is pretty good. That night was when he debuted the haters wanted shirt. That merch launch could not of been better timed with how i was feeling about him
Even tho Miz is probably one of the greatest Egomaniac heels ever, I have been loving him as a face and I'm so happy he is finally getting the respect he deserves from fans
MY FAVORITE WRESTLER!!! THE MIZ!!🙌🏾🔥
Ive been a fan of the Miz ever since the pipebomb he had with Daniel Bryan on Talking Smack. Ever since that, he can do No wrong in my eyes.
Underrated for a very long time. Respected for awhile now but truly appreciated way too late
I've said this countless times...
The Miz is my favourite wrestler of ALL TIME...
And The Miz is the very best HEEL of all time in WWE...Bar none!
The turning point was that episode of "Talking Smack" where he literally ripped into Daniel Bryan with so much passion.
The Miz is a modern day Edge without the consistent push. He has gotten people over better than some legends have. I mean that. Chris Jericho thinks losing to someone is all that gets that person over. No. You have to go deeper. You have to attack that person mentally. Nobody is better at that than The Miz. He attacked Daniel Bryan mentally on TV and Daniel Bryan got the biggest pop of the night when he beat Miz for the US Title in 2010. Miz made Damian Mizdow the most over superstar of the Mania season! I could go on.
Thank you Miz 🙏
To me he did everything well and his feud with Bryan made him so much better and his run with cena he did it all i just hope they give him one more main tittle run but i dont want him to lose the tag team tittle quickly
Miz is definitely a great no doubt
You can keep your spinner belt. That IC design was a G.O.A.T.
Much better looking on the miz too
Being a grown up is realizing that Truth has carried the Miz’s career for years now.
Miz deserves a proper world championship run. Win it without a cash in, and go on a 6 month reign
He is the miz and he's awesome
Miz gas always been my favourite
FACTS, THE GOAT!!!! THE MIZZZZZZ
Miz was the original Logan Paul till this day people still say Logan shouldn’t be in the wwe
He is what he is the Miz
Miz is a legend
The Miz winning in life
The Miz has such a complex legacy. A gret heat magnet yet it never felt right seeing him at the main event. A solid hand in the ring without that one great match to remember. A man who clearly has "IT" but never really showed it at the top of the card. History will probably never be fair to him, as I see people rating him as either "Mehhh" (he's clearly better than that) or "Underrated Legend" (a HOF for sure, but compared to his peers, he lacks in many areas).
The Miz is the Chris Jericho of his generation the guy that wrestles the Main guy great on the mic great in ring wrestler heel face he gets the job done a true superstar can open or close the show and in between Hall a Fame
UNDERRATED....YES!!!!, LEGEND.....YES!!!
