They’re brilliant artists, but they say enough and not enough at the same time. I adore them. I think what they stand for is amazing, but they never go off the edge. I go off the edge, and that’s a bit dangerous. I am not here to be a f*cking cup of tea. I’d be a shot of whiskey. You're either going to love it or you're not. But that's the point. I want to be real.”

He is so special. This is the first artist who seems so humble and close to me, I feel almost as if he knows me. I admire him very much. He's so good-natured and gentle. He fights so much for what he believes in, he is so loud in it and does not hurt anyone - exceptional. He is not a star in what he does - he is primarily human.
I saw him without knowing his music at all at the 97X festival and I have to say he has inspired me so much I’m not even a week. I’m looking forward to being a YOUNGBLUD fan!!!

I feel like I’m truly just vibing with him, walking down sunset, after popping an Adderall, and talking deep thoughts, without taking a breath. Very chill. “Do you want anything to drink?” Polite AF.

I do this too. You are not alone. I have undiagnosed ADHD, although I have enough self awareness to know I have it. Get easily distracted during conversations. "Oh there's a beautiful flower. Doesn't the sky look blue today" whilst talking to someone and often have to explain that I'm not being rude or inattentive it's just I get easily distracted. I'm a real scatter brain. I struggled to focus in school. I wouldn't be able to sit still during mealtimes as a child. My mother used to have to read to me in order to get me to eat as i was running around all the time. I was a very hyper kid. You're never the only one going through these things. Embrace your differences. You are wonderful just as you are . Sending love&compassion to you. Best wishes. 🙏💛🙌💞💫✨

My mom is not the most accepting person... She thinks she is open-minded but she really isn't
So because who I really am isn't normal, I'm a boy living in a girls body who wants to where all black and chains with slicked back hair.
This keeps me going YUNGBLUD keeps me going the community the music him is what keeps me from falling into a whole I would never be able to get out of.
So even though I know you will never see this in had to put it out YUNGBLUD has saved me in every sense of the word

I identify as nonbinary. I have moments where I feel more like a boy in a girls body and really struggle with my identity. My parents don’t even accept me as nonbinary. Half my friends abandoned me because I’m nonbinary. I can’t tell if I’m really a boy who’s scared of losing more people. Or if I’m nonbinary and just overthinking it.

Good interview, love Dom and his music and everything he stands for. I worry about him though, takes on a lot of peoples troubles, I hope he continues to take care of himself and surround himself with loving people. Confused about the reason the name Yungblud came about in this interview, I previously heard him say it came about because his management called him the young blood ie because he was new and young. Ah well whatever, he’s great. Keep doing your thing and keep on rocking ❤
