Pochoir process

  • First experiment printing with pochoir process!
    I found it very low cost and straight forward, it does takes more time to print compared to screenprinting but that's part of it, enjoy it!
    I've done this print with my students when I introduced the project, hoping to do another one (since I have a better idea now).

    So I'm confused. I thought pochoir was printing the cutout. NOT the stencil. Do you know what printing with the cutout is called?

      It is confusing. I think you are thinking of Chine Colle which is a process of cutting thin pieces of paper and adhering/pasting/printing the paper unto a thicker paper (print).

      @@Hi-vx2bb maybe. Either way, all these techniques-chine colle, pochair, stenciling, etc are fascinating. I would like to try them all
