That's true it's one of the few series that I've personally watched that had a great English translation of the original opening song instead of just making a cheesy opening that is completely different to the actual opening that was made for the series case in point the Yu-Gi-Oh! Series. While I love the "It's time to Duel!" song since it's what played when I started watching the series but I still love the original Openings better especially Season 5's Overlap by Kimura that played during the final arc "Millennium World".
Kuwabara , the big manly man (the one with the biggest heart) bare chested and looking cool . Hiei with a shadow on his face hiding his true intentions, anger, resolve, compassion for his teammaes, Kurama his hands behind him , hiding his trump card, his tricks , you will only see what he wants you to see. Yusuke an amalgumation of the three, his eyes set on the horizon, ready to face whatever the future holds with these 3 titans at his side
That one of the coolest things about 90's anime dubs. And the lyrics aren't always translations either. They are sometimes completely new lyrics that happen to have the title of the japanese song in the lyrics
@@000xyz The old Cardcaptor Sakura English dub did that with it's English themes (though they unfortunately never aired in the US. Only in Australia and New Zealand.)
Within the broken mirror I clearly see your reflection Tears roll down your face, tears roll down your face As your finger traces the edge of the new moon Who is that I'm calling out to I can see you walk away from me Time and time again, time and time again You will find me knocking on your door With my back pressed against the weight of the world And the speed of the night It felt as if a thread was snapping in two And I held onto you, held onto you, held onto you With all my might! As you share an unbalanced kiss with me I hope you can feel us getting closer to love And may your fear and your tearful deceptions Both come to rest in my heart OH MY LOVE!!!!!!!!!!
Let me be honest; when my brother and I first saw this ending theme, we sat and looked at it without blinking, and at end of the theme (the part before Yusuke and the main heroes looked up at the hologram of Sensui), we commented on how cool it was just before the music would fade out. We LOVE that music ever since!
The one thing I really love about the credits roll for this ending is that it starts during the Dark Tournament saga and shows a big image of Sensui in the sky. Viewers would have no idea who that is at that point and wonder, "Who the heck is *that?*" It's a really cool teaser for what's to come for Yusuke after Toguro is finished.
After Toguro was defeated By Yusuke Urameshi a Former Sprit Detective before Yusuke took His place is now Evil His Name is Shinobu Sensui He wast not fired just wanted to Quit Itsuki is His Shinobu's Alliance just like Botan is Yusuke's Friend
HokutoAnsatsuken ok if the creator of yyh is married to the creator of sailor moon, then how is the author of yyh able to get away with faking sick for playing dragon quest instead of making new chapters for hunter x hunter?
mm, not exactly, only if the guy who is delinquent is actually a good guy but does what he does due to the circunstances, a good guy but with strong character
Zeslimboiz Great teacher Onizuka, School Rumble, Beelzebub (manga is a lot better), Kyou Kare Ore Wa isn't well known but it's very funny as well as epic.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure parts 2, 3 and 4 have delinquent type main characters, but if you skip Part 1: Phantom Blood, you're definitely doing it wrong.
but yusuke was not a delinquent, was an adolescent who was passing for difficult times and being misunderstood by people around him, he wasn´t the one who was looking for trouble, troubles chased him and for that he had to be tough and a bit aggressive, but as the story progresses he finds friendship and understanding by others which made him grow. The one who really was a delinquent from the beginning was Hei and although he changed a bit he still had a bit of dark aura around him.

I always thought it was supposed to be Itsuki singing this. Mainly because of his and shunsui "unrequited" love the lyrics really fit how itsuki just loves him so so much but shunsui barely even sees him because he is so shut in his own world and only sees his own goals (Thus the "unbalanced" kiss)
