It is simply the greatest vehicle I have ever driven and agree with you it is quite possibly the greatest vehicle ever built of any car manufacturer in history. I bought my 2014 200 new with the intent of enjoying the shit clean out of predictably the last generation of a V8 cruiser, but didn’t expect Toyota would kill its flagship vehicle in the US. I get offers to sell it all the time, but won’t do it before 20 years or 500,000 miles are on the clock.

The LC 300 is out now and while it is not sold in Europe, they are (were) available via import from Russia to the European Union in late 2021 and early 2022 and units exist for sale.
Love the Land Cruiser platform. I have two kids in college and one still in Elementary so I’ll have to keep slumming it in my 4Runner TRD Pro but maybe one day

The best car I’ve ever owned was a hand me down I got at 18 when my mom got a new car, a gold 2001 Toyota Avalon. It’s an old person’s car, but it ran great. Probably would still be running if I didn’t total it in a single car (and single occupant) crash back when I drank alcohol. The 24 Hours of Le Mans, Toyota was like “ya know, it would be cool if we got involved in that. They’ve won the last five. I like that they race under Toyota, not Lexus when racing against Porsches and Ferraris.

Hey all jokes aside , I took this thing on a “ shortcut “ which turned out to be straight rocks the size of basket balls largest and smaller but pretty much solid rocks like that down I’d have to guess 1000’ of mountain side . It started off as a dirt road which quickly turned into OMG my truck will need a helicopter to get it out of here !!! Don’t stop , don’t stall , just rode the break and very little gas and it made it all the way down in one piece I couldn’t freakin believe it . And this was crazy BLM land outside Reno NV . I thought I was gonna be buzzard jerky and my truck would be shootin practice for centuries to come . But ole Betsy Lou did it . And that’s my story :) I have vids if anyone is a naysayer , something like that:)
It's a shame that we won't be getting the 300 Series version, that just means I'll have to hang on to ours longer than expected. I hope that the reason this is getting sold is to make way for a new Sequoia build?!

Too bad you guys aren’t getting the LC 300 because it outperforms the LC 200 by a country mile. All said and done, you own the most capable Land Cruiser 200 in North America!
If it didn’t do the Darien Gap, it ain’t s**t. Lol i think a crew did it with a Jeep back in the mid 80’s. It took them 30 days to travel 125 miles. They had to clear the thick jungle vegetation with machetes. F**k that!
If they’re built on a frame, and have pickup versions of them why don’t we all call them a truck? To me, it’s too rugged to be called a car. It’s a truck. Period. A truck with a bed is called a pickup truck.

one suggestion :
secondary gas tank. 25 gallon gas tank and no way it's more than 12/mpg with all that weight.
