LOL, it's interesting to think of the contrast between then and now. If someone pulls a knife on a peace officer now, and then fights with them with the knife, he'd be going to jail for at least ten years. In Dodge City they just say "Take him home."
Pull a knife on a cop and get shot, for sure. Here, no jail time for attempted MURDER? I don't buy it, even back then. Matt just runs em out of town--as if that solves a guy like that running around free. Chain gang for that guy.

I think--don't know, but I think when he pulled the KNIFE, Chester or anyone else, who had a gun should have covered the marshal and told the guy to drop the knife. And if he still tried to use it on Dillan, shoot his sorry ass.
