Just an fyi don’t quit your job Auxiliary is volunteer you will not get paid, you will not be issued a firearm you’re just the eyes and ears for the department that’s it and if you’re thinking about joining don’t bother with auxiliary just got right into the academy and I say this because this is what a sgt from the midtown Calvary told me
Thank you for saying it as it is. You just said the simple plain truth. I know i’m going to get hate from the haters for saying this! But auxiliary is just a waste of time. Like you said! If you want to join,apply for the academy! And that’s if you’re under 35 ,have an associates degree,be a u.s citizen,be fluent in english and have an ok shape. Those were the requirements last time i checked. The degree thing is not an issue if you served in any branch of the military. If some people don’t respect real cops,what makes auxiliaries think they’ll get some respect?. To me auxiliaries are just people that were desperate to be cops,and they just didn’t have what it takes. I had a cousin! That he stopped talking to me,because i told him the reality about him being in the auxiliary. He hasn’t spoken to me in 10 years. The nypd(auxiliary division)told him that with time he can make his way into the police force. And now i heard that he’s working as an uber/lyft driver.
I could not find any evidence of Fatima Japa being a cardiologist. The NYPD X post shows her as a cardiologist at Columbia Presbyterian, but records show Fatima Japa, M.D., was a physician in the Dominican Republic and likely earned her M.D. there. She is a medical/surgical assistant in New York, not a licensed physician. I do not denigrate her service as an assistant, nor her service as an auxiliary police officer, but there is no evidence she is a physician in the United States. To do that would require her to complete a residency program and subspecialty training as a licensed physician, and she has apparently not done that. NYPD need to be careful about vetting information like this.
Naive people can be easily manipulated. The way this video was made,it kind of looks like a brain washing technique. I agree with your comment 100%. To me it looked like she probably was something medical related in her native country at most,but here in the U.S, a legit doctor barely has time to cook at home. But her demeanor was off and the excitement of her being an auxiliary gave it away.
Maybe let’s upgrade the auxillary sticks, going on the street with sticks is crazy. At least a taser or something. Imagine u trip over ur own stick, because its tatically a liability
If someone has a degree from college if someone is in the military doesn't make sense to join the department that is crazy stay with your career in the military and pursue your career after graduation from college this doesn't make sense to join the department if people have one of these careers it doesn't make sense to leave it to join it doesn't make sense no way it's not even worth it
Is this what the NYPD does when they are not beating the snot out of peaceful subway riders. Or suppressing the first amendment so bad that a judge sign a immediate injunction to end the violations of the law. The constitution is just a obstacle to you not not an obligation.
