James 2:14~18 is another good reference re faith, works and grace
Martin Luther suffered from what I do: it's a type of OCD called scrupulosity. This needs to be MUCH more well known in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I started feeling it at about 12 but didn't even get diagnosed with it until I was 26. I'm still not quite over it yet.
Yes, more should be aware of this.

Let's not forget William Wilberforce. Newton told William Wilberforce to stay in politics. After 18 years, he was able to free slavery in England.😢😅.. From there, the poem turned into a chant. Chant turned into a hymn .

I think one of the main things is that God has us do work for good and makes it possoble with what He does for us and even makes our works even cooler. I think we are accountable for our sins on the level we understand them, and we need to not exept them, and once we stop exepting a thing that is against God and repent we no longer have that sin. And ya doing good is what you do when you love God because He is the king of all good things. And its easier to avoid sin when you are activly loving God, and letting go of things that aren't so central. I think God and good is exactly loving truthful and powerful and joyful and other words. I realized you can get distracted and think its some complecated equation, but think if thats getting you away from simply loving God and being living truthful and trying to grow yourself.
Also one thing to gets you into distractions is relying on other people for truth btw. People help but you have to know how to tell what is true first.
So bacically focus on God. You can do that with the Holy Spirit. And focus on the princables of the gosple.
