Why doesn't this have a Million Views? It's such a beautiful Song and the Singer looks like Janis Joplin, there ain't more to ask for.
That's how music industry works.
The wind is the 6th member of the band in this amazing performance.
"Face down in the holler"
The holler is a colloquialism for a hollow, a v-shaped ravine or valley. It's the low spot, and one without good vision, with the only way out being climbing up, being down in the hollow/ holler means being in a difficult position but it can also mean being hidden
Fantabulous ❤
Beautiful
Great band ...authentic sound ,Mighty fine folks !!

I came into this with no expectations and I’m very impressed
Lovely!
Excellent.
beautiful voice
we think so too!
I'm the harvest moon
On an autumn night
I'm watching your shadow, pass through my light
Been broke in a sonder
And over the line
Like the teeth of the haro, rust in time
I'm drinking morphine
Straight from the vile
Though the yearlings are yearning
For the winter to find
Me in my darkness
You in my mind
I'm the winter moon
In the still of the night
I love how the snow falls
Falls through my light
Been waiting on the answers
They're not where you like
Face down in the holler
Exposed by design
I'm pickin pretty flowers
Straight from the vine
Though the yearlings are yearning
For the winter to find
Me for my darkness
You for my mind
I'm drinking up morphine
Straight from the vile
Me in my darkness
You in my mind
I'm drinking morphine
Straight from the vile
Though the yearlings are yearning
For the winter to pry
Me for my darkness
You for my mind
I'm pickin pretty flowers
Straight from the vine
Me in my darkness
You in my mind
Me in my darkness
You in my mind
Thank you

We love using the Edwina in the studio
yesss!!
What is the meaning of this song?
I have guesses. Maybe it was inspired by the death of the lead singer's close friend and the pain/depression that comes after such a loss. Generally, songs are written in a slightly ambiguous fashion so that listeners can have multiple different interpretations. Maybe it is a just a song.
This is a bit special
'The Deer' also refers to shitting in small chunks, but still a great song+band!
