You can tell that Sasha is Kerri’s drag mother. They both have the same energy and aura of being lighthouse personalities, so humble and kind yet FIERCE
I think as mother, Sasha would have been adamant that her house radiates humility and kindness. It’s kind of “southern hospitality” in a sense: you will be met with kindness and love while also being served and made to eat it up.

As a trans woman, playing a male character can be traumatizing (which she acknowledged in her Whatcha Packin I think), but I think she chose Carl because she could make the most dramatic change possible and show her already insane range. I mean, she was unrecognizable as Carl! If you didn’t tell me that was her, I wouldn’t have figured it out.
I think she's also done what a lot of the pageant queens struggle with coming to the show, which is find a way to balance that level of excellence and polish with the sometimes stupid goofy fun that Drag Race just demands of the contestants. Like it took Trinity till the half of S9 to tap into that energy.
@@ebbandflowph but once she did… holy shitballs did she go ham. I think that’s the other key to success in the show: do not pigeonhole yourself as “the xyz queen”. For example, as a queen, my strongest points are congeniality, comedy, singing, and performance, but I’m not “the theater queen” or “the comedy queen”. I know where my weaknesses are (I can sew by machine and by hand, with embroidery as an extra skill, but I have a hard time with patterning, and I don’t see myself as a look queen per se), I know how I can improve, and I can work on it.
She better get the crown. I actually love the rest of the finalist, but she’s literally slayed ever single aspect of the competition since she came through the workroom doors! It feels like she’s already won tbh. 😂

I love how goofy and humble she is, but also can step up to MOTHER the kids or just straight up slice that runway with looks and dance. There is way more to her than I thought. She already got me at pulling that face after saying "Im a model".

Sasha is ramming through the competition not only with her talents but the looks are S tier. Her “basic” outfits the raceway look and her makeover challenge look still looked great just not as amazing as her other looks and oof I can only imagine her finale looks those will definitely be the best looks of the season.
The most versatile performer of the season. She has made sure to step our of her own comfort zone and show the judges that she can excel anyways!

The second she walked in they knew it was over. Casting her was kind of unfair to the other queens when you think about it lol Although Anetra did give her a run for her money for a while. And you gotta admire how she 100% lived up to her reputation on the show, unlike some other well-established queens.
A lot of established queens joined drag race but Sasha was the most down to earth and most humble of them all.

It's refreshing see a more experienced and wise queen snatch the crown & the audience's heart. I also like to see queens who have been working hard in the backstage get the spot light they deserve. Like Jaida winning S12. Sasha Colby's win is a very important statement.

It just goes to show that when you're free to express yourself and be who you are, as you are, that you can finally have fun. It sucks that a lot of trans people and questioning people feel the need to have to double down really hard because if there's any sort of "insecurity" about it, then we get people trying to completely demolish and obliterate everything about us.
