I remember the first meet with King K. Rool as a 9 year child. I closed the door of the living room and sat on the floor with a cup of cornflakes. Pumped up the volume and wide stereo. My heart was beating like hell my hands sweat a lot. I was in the game and i thougt that i am to be the man who have to beat K. Rool now. It took ages for my childish mind and it was my intensive bossfight ever. After beating K. Rool i felt like a real hero. I came out of the living room like a big proud man winning the olympics. For everyone else was it just another sunny sunday morning in 1996.

For me, the best part of a video game is usually fighting the final boss. I feel that the final boss should be intense and unique from all of the other bosses in the game. The reason is simple: as you beat the bosses, the buildup for the final boss intensifies, and the boss is (usually) the mastermind behind the conflict of the story.

King K. Rool is one of the more successful villains in gaming. He actually kidnapped the main protagonist and hero and mascot of the game. That would be like if The Joker kidnapped Batman and you play as Robin...which wouldn't be a bad idea...but instead it's Scarecrow who does it. In Arkham Knight. So, yeah.
So he's better than ridley. A villian who kill samus's parents and keeps letting her live for most of the time so she can get more angered about ridley and how he killed her and even killed mario and mega man
@@angryboi595 To be fair, I don't entirely think it's Ridley LETTING Samus live most of the time and more Samus blasting him to bits to the point that he has to be kept on life support for around a year or so each time (I'm pretty sure it's 2 years between Zero Mission and Prime 1 canonically). Additionally, Ridley would have won in Samus Returns if not for the baby metroid, so we can't trash his track record TOO much. Now if you want to talk about dumb video game villains, I'd be happy to give a couple of examples upon request...

Kudgel is the third boss of Krem Quay, he is a large muscular Kremling with gray skin doning a pair of yellow shorts and wields a giant wooden club with metallic pointy bolts.
On round two in the Lost World, K Rool is pinned in the corner and wont move, simply blasting away after he just got off getting almost eaten by piranhas and all it takes is one last hurrah. Great attention to detail
Dude, that was only facing K. Rool the first time. You have to face him the second time in the secret levels to truly beat the game. Plus, he has whole new patterns in the second fight.

I remember defeating Krow in one shot, and when I hit Kleever for the first time, I was stuck on Kleever for like a week. It only just got way harder from there, and I thought I was never going to be able to beat K Rool the very first time I reached him.
In general honestly, it’s truly a challenging game.
