  • Finally get this thing on the road after installing suspension, wheels, interior and exterior bits. Definitely a timeless design by Honda. 4D99N2K

Very beautiful, so tastefully modified. Just picked up a 99 Hatch, going to do a period correct restoration and b18C to OEM Spec.

Thank you for the kind words. Great chassis! What wheels are you going to throw on?

@@xenospark713 I’m going to start with some inexpensive Konig Helium’s, and later as the build progresses and after paint I would honestly like to do the cliche spoon sw388

@@xenospark713 when I was younger I was a big Initial D fan, and one of my favorite episodes was the EK9 when the Driving Instructor raced against the 86, I’m going with a B18 for the torque and I’ll likely do 4.9 Final Drive, Yellow with a carbon hood and just leave everything else OEM
This is my first Honda, I’ve been a Nissan and DSM all my life, before my 370 I had a decently quick Evo, and other Z’s and s13’s, one of which I was doing a Sileighty replica from “Deep Impact” also initial D.
I’m blown away at the ease of working on these cars, and though it is not the fastest the fun is in the overall owners experience, it handles extremely well for being a car never made for racing and it’s still 100% stock, driving this thing I wish I would have jumped into the Honda game a lot sooner, because these things hold their value and the aftermarket and research and development put into these cars is peerless.
Just recently bought my son an IS300, trying to get him into just taking pride in ownership and living that OEM+ lifestyle.
We’ve done an Greddy SP Supreme exhaust, and intake so far, Altezza Grille and Rainguards. I’ll be surprising him with a set of OG BBS RG331 which have the “BBS Toyota” center caps and BBS valve stems in tact.
God is good man, I really enjoy when TH-cam recommends me channels like yours, just taking it easy and enjoying the culture, no bragging or boasting.
      Cheers man.

@@7eamGhast I'm surprised Konig is still around. Can't go wrong with SW388s. You could always take the Rota Slipstream approach and spray bbq high heat paint, they look like the real deal. I used to have a IS300 and it's a solid car, very nimble. Awesome present to give to a young man! So much aftermarket support for that chassis. Have never owned a Nissan, but would love a 97-98 kouki. Can't go wrong with a b-series Honda. Like you said, low horsepower but proven to bring joy lol. Cars seem to bring so much joy in the world despite all the deception and chaos going on. In retrospect this is why I created this channel. To look back on the good times. Thanks for sharing sir!

@@xenospark713 I’m not sure of your age, but your parents taught you well. You’re a very well spoken individual.
Chaos and Deception is the only way to describe what is taking place, you’re absolutely right.
      Cheers.
