I don't know? I'm a fan and I like it.. So why don't you cut some of the hype. And just say some fans? Or even most fans instead inferring that All fans dislike the trailer.
Trailers are supposed to be what gets someone pumped up for the movie. I don't think this one hit the mark as they had hoped. As a fan did you want to see a sequel to the first one or are you just open to the idea of a second one?
I have to disagree. The trailer has the purpose of drawing interest. If done wrong it can be a difference maker between millions of dollars being made or lost. The end credits are just informative and for the most part don't serve a purpose more than that unless interlaced with scenes that will advance some type of storytelling.

I agree that a lot of times trailers are a poor representation of the film. I have wanted to see several movies because of the trailer but end up being disappointed by the movie. But should they be? I think a movie like this that is considered a blockbuster is naturally expected to deliver on every aspect.
