Oh and meanwhile they are still releasing candles! Sorry to vent, haha. I know you know the struggle! And Im on the west coast too! Pony express delivery to Ca.
Same here. An order placed in August took almost 4 wks to receive (to Central Valley, CA). No responses received from messages sent to CS re: shipping delays & the 25% off coupon debacle. 🤷♀️
In response to your comment about Kringle shipping...Coming from someone who works in personnel for a large retail company, finding people who want to work when they are hired is a huge problem too these days. They literally clock in then do nothing. When told what they need to be doing by managers they still just stand around chit chatting or are on their phones. Or they just don't show up to work at all. What's crazy is they get mad or don't understand why they were terminated. It was only a very, very small problem 20 years ago.
My husband has been having the same issue. We ship worldwide. Automotive industry. It’s not our older employees, it’s the young new hires. We’ve had to require no cellphone use in the shipping area and also made sure to block certain websites from our servers so the employees in the front office are staying focused on their jobs.
@@ouiser1955 not our older employees either, and they are frustrated, too. We have no cell phone policy, but employees are caught all the time using them.
Oh it is insane trying to find people who will work right now. My husband owns two very busy companies and in the spring and summers when they are their busiest, its darn near impossible to find people who will work... and he pays well above minimum wage. I just don't think people who don't own businesses understand that finding employees is not a flick of the wand kind of thing lol. I see everyone saying "just hire more people".... well yes, of course but please do point the way of where these people are 🤣
Thank you for showing us what you have enjoying! It’s still hot where I am, so I am still stuck on summer scents for now. Looking forward to the colder weather this year.
Great video. Im currently burning Homeworx Berry Pumpkin Waffles and Farmstand Pumpkin. Both smell so good. I didnt know there were delays with Kringle Candle. I was tempted to purchase the recent sales, but I didnt because I want to hopefully purchase your candle collab for the holidays. Im enjoying what I have and keeping a collection manageable.
Thanks for sharing your weekly home fragrances. This week’s burns: Kringle Sweet & Savory (good rye/pumpernickel bread-savory, not sweet); Dreadful Dolly (apple-wood; getting bored @ 3/4 full); Sinister (love dark berries & plum scents); Sicilian Orange 3 wick (the best Kringle citrus-herb blend, IMO); my beloved recently retired Pumpkin Peppercorn (had to stock up on this fave pumpkin spice scent during clearance sale). BTW: where’s Kringle’s Leaf Peeper this year? I prefer the spices in LP to BBW’s Leaves. 🍂 Next up: receiving my first Witch City Wicks order this week: chose 3-apple, coffee, & pumpkin spice candles.🤞Happy 1st day of Autumn on 9/22 to all. 🍂R🍁
Thanks to you and Alf for the weekly roundup. I’m finishing Kringle Leafpeeper, HW Vanilla Orchard Crisp, and lamping an old BBW Slatkin Pumpkin Patch! Sounds like I’m going to have to get to Target to check out their candles again. I placed a Voluspa 3 wick tin order yesterday with Bloomingdale’s since they are having a 25% off free ship sale. I’m looking forward to checking out some of their fall and holiday scents including Noble Fir Garland (thanks to your feedback) 😊
I ordered from Kringle on 9/3 and just got a shipping notification on 9/20, so hopefully yours will be on the way soon too! I did not order anything from the Christmas release for this reason. I'll hold onto my money until they are caught up. LOL.
Nice roundup. The only two I have going is BBW Leaves and Yankee's Farm Fresh Pumpkins. Sadly, Big Lots! doesn't carry Yankee anymore and haven't for quite a while. That's where I got the Pumpkins one for $14.00 three years ago and others. Btw, Goose Creek just released a Betty Crocker collection lol. They have roughly 238 candles. To duh loo.
I debated going in for that really good Kringle Labor Day sale (the wax melts were SUPER discounted and I was thinking of stocking up for next spring/summer) but had to put my literal eyes on my current wax hoard to talk myself out of it. lol I like to break my scentsy bars down in top two, then the last six cubes - 2 at a time but vertically (middle and bottom). I've never melted caramel apple craze - is it a BBW Cider lane dupe? or similar? Your make up looks even prettier than usual!! Love the eyeshadow against your eyes!! 😊
BBW Cider Lane has slight cider spice notes to me, whereas Scentsy Caramel Apple Craze is straightforward caramel apple. I'd say it's more similar to BBW summer boardwalk without the salty note.
Holly already answered thankfully but I will agree they are very different. Caramel apple craze is straight up caramel apple from the fair! It's amazing! Cider Lane has some classic fall spices and no caramel.
Thanks! I bought a bunch of these teeshirts from American Eagle. They don’t have this exact one anymore, I wish they did! But they have some cute oversized tshirts that are available now!
It’s been BBW apple crisp for me this week. I’m having a really hard time quitting it. I did get through two bars of scentsy honey pear cider. I only wanted to use 1 but my bars are kinda “juicy” so I feel like I need to melt them now.
I love the Blushed Tonka candle from studio McGee, is it a fall candle per se.., no but if you like the more sophisticated perfume leaning scents than you will love it. The other scent in the line is reportedly supposed to be a dupe of a Joe Malone fragrance
Thank you for explaining how to use a candle lamp and crock so clearly. Could you share where you picked up those lovely, orange lamps in your back drop?
If a candle I purchased from QVC is defective…like no scent, poor performance, etc.. I don’t pay any additional fees to return. Just putting it out there for people curious about a different experience. I don’t mind longer shipping times, my issue comes with Kringle having more sales and new releases after their shipping time was on the slower side. Also Scentsy posts a banner stating how long shipping could take…Kringle should do that so customers aren’t wondering how long their order would take to get to them.
Perhaps since Kringle’s shipping department can’t keep up with the volume of orders they already had from Halloween and sales they should have postponed the Christmas launch to October. Or maybe try to hire seasonal help and if anyone turns out to be a good employee then offer them a permanent position. I didn’t realize so few people work in their shipping department and I hate to say, but that sounds like they are chronically overworked if that’s the case and it would be difficult to hire people to work in very busy and understaffed conditions.
I am sure Kringle would love to hire more people, I do think the problem might be finding those people lol. My husband is in the hiring world and I can tell you, even if you pay pretty well - that means darn near nothing when it comes to filling positions. Honestly I would LOVE to work in a candle wearhouse lol! I would have a field day!
I’m not familiar w/ scentsy. If you’re part of a club, do you still pay shipping? Also, what are the perks of being part of a club vs just purchasing online? Thanks!
Hi. I have a club subscription. You do pay shipping. The benefits of the subscription (that I know) are 1) Always get your bar. So if you put a bar in then even if it’s retired you will still get. 2) for a certain spend $ threshold you get a small discount across your whole order. 3) For another spend $ threshold you get one 1/2 price item.
@@EvanRo It's free to start. There is no fee for the "service" if you will. It literally just allows you to add whatever bars you want and determine whether you get them monthly. bi monthly or tri monthly. Super easy to set up, just contact a consultant.
I'm fine with waiting for Kringle orders. Everyone always complained they never had sales. Now they are offering terrific sales which is awesome, but with that comes the reality that shipping takes longer with the influx of sales. Same with Scentsy when they have fabulous flash sales. QVC takes returns, but I wouldn't return candles. When we return, we end up paying shipping both ways plus their restocking fee so we end up paying almost the candle's full price to have nothing. I've rather gift them or sell myself. I love the smell of juniper!!

I just mark the Q candle as defective lol.... I have not paid return shipping that way but most times I won't take the time to send them back. Like you I will just gift them out. It's easier.
Not being ugly but have we gotten so spoiled that we can’t have patience and grace in shipping times. We all love having items now and instant gratification but….
I thinks it’s Amazon that got us used to this concept of getting your stuff the very next day or within 2 days. Not all companies have the leverage and resources to do that. But, nevertheless, there probably is a shortage of personnel in the shipping & handling department that they probably could have addressed
I don’t think people expected packages to ship within a day…at least I didn’t, but when some orders were placed three weeks ago and the company doesn’t say anything, customers have a right to question that without it being considered impatient or ridiculous.

I do think there is something to the Amazon effect of the instant shipping gratification. I will always have more patience with smaller companies personally. But I do think being more communicative is important.
Lisa is the absolute best, I love her as my consultant
I always look forward to your weekly home fragrance video!! I hope you have a great weekend ❤

I'm laughing, picturing Craig baking a cake, adding custom spices, with his new candle burning next to him. 🤣🤣

Must put that on the list! Thanks Jenn!
