Just an ad for their services really. Doesn't offer any insight into training. However hats off for being able to train Taz so well.

Nice video! Your dog looks like an identical twin to my Bella! Aren’t they a wonderful breed? This is my second Cattle Dog, and I would never have anything else! I got Bella when she was 8 weeks. She just turned 4 in December ‘!!

@@living2day617 14 week old red. Just Love training - Sits, stays, comes, high five, shakes, goes to door for potty, fetches, crate trained; but, will sleep in bed for 9 hours without an issue.... loves our grand kids, rides in car like a champ... loves other dogs that are willing to meet and greet. These dogs should not have shock collar training... they understand what you are teaching them.... they get it FAST. just have to spend the time.

@@living2day617 Hello Friend! Adopting an adult dog is far different than raising one from a puppy. Don’t get me wrong; adopting a homeless dog is an enviable and unselfish thing to do. But you may just be getting somebody else’s problem! Remember, that dog is homeless for a reason!!🤔The dog may come full of problems! This may be especially true of Heelers, as they, by nature are very strong willed and somewhat stubborn. Dogs will differ as they are raised, but is hereditary and can’t be changed, but if you get a pup, you are able to shape them as you want! Getting a pup is my recommendation, but I wish you luck whichever way you go!Keep as informed as to which way you go!!👍😊

Ao my Blue Heeler is a yr and a half and pretty much trained....
Your walking around having your subject obey commands but your not showing everyone how you made it all happen your just showing commands being followed not at all the hard work, the techniques to obtain success.
I am saddened by this, and as a trainer I would think you could of at least showed people some of your techniques.
Sorry but not my favorite video.

This is just a video that demonstrates the dog was trained by her; it was in no way supposed to be an instructional video. People liked it so it got lots of views. She sells training services, so it wouldn't make good business sense to give away her techniques for free.

I got a Heeler pup and someone asked me was I going to send her to obedience school. I told them she was all ready in school. They kind of looked at me and I just pointed to my 11 year old Heeler and replied "Well I did alright with her didn't I.".That was the end of the conversation.

It's a lot more impressive when a trainer can get a dog to want to listen to them without using torture tactics such as e collar. Don't pay someone money to shock your dog. You can do that yourself for free if you believe in that kind of thing.

See ing s the bluey is an Aussie breed, all the "training" is directly apposite to what the breed is used for. If you are using a shock collar, I would love to put a 240V 50 Amp collar on the trainer and see if you they it.

My ACD behaves this well, and I have never used an e-collar, nor do I use treat rewards. She is 2 now and is very well acclimated to other animals, people, and stores. If you feel the need to employ an e-collar, you probably shouldnt be a trainer

shock collar works great for off leash training. get the one with the vibrate. beep mode works well also. shock is used when they are stubborn, but they learn very quickly. with heelers, they have very thick fur and the training collar needs to be tight enough to be effective. after the first month, we no longer need to use the shock. once in a while, we use the vibrate when a squirrel runs across our lawn. i prefer the training collar as oppose to the obesity treats.

@@camrondriver96 for the biggest mistake is the dog never comes to heel properly and when it did come to heel it was from behind her. Completely improper whether heeling or not. Promotes bad shady behavior if the dog wants to be behind you. That means the dog wants to control the situation and is by doing so. Also when doing pushups Taz was never put into proper heel and therefore moves at his own pace doing them instead of following commands. She let's the dog enter a doorway before her and that's a problem as well. The dog may be functioning in this video but it'll be shortlived. These very specific details that many others wont catch is what the problem is. Thanks for asking. Does that answer your question?

I was unexpectedly gifted a heeler a year ago and I had never owned a puppy before so I didn't know what I was getting into. Vinny is the most energetic and hyper dog I have ever seen. He is so much to handle because he can't really be around guests or he'll jump up and start nipping their heels. I love him to death and he is the smartest dog, but I have no clue on how to train him to be nicer with people. He knows how to sit, paw, down, but when a guest comes over he usually won't listen. It's even worse with children because he goes crazy, and we have had 2 accidents because of this. I understand Vinny is young and is only being playful, but he is so strong and can easily hurt the kids. With all this being said, I wouldn't change him for everything. He is always there for me when I need him and will hopefully find someone that can help us in bettering both of our lives.

I got my ACD at four months old, he just turned three. He works for all his kibble, as rewards for obedience and tricks , Box Feeding, interactive toys. He does two hours a day at a walk on a treadmill. He prefers to be outside in a large kennel. He is also trained on a QUALITY low level remote collar, I use and recommend Mini Educator. He was properly conditioned to the collar so when he feels a stimulation he is to look to the handler for information.
