Under this strategic initiative, the French carmaker plans to launch five products in the next three years. This is in addition to the €3 billion investment that Renault Brand recently announced for the four key international hubs outside Europe, which includes India.

Good Luck doesn't last forever. Its still lucky Exter was launched a higher price point but things can change anytime. There is a boxy car manufacturer - Maruti which is going to launch a bigger version of Wagon R soon. If Renault has to stay with this masterpiece , it has to upgrade its heart rather than the body with cosmetic changes.

Actually no plans for india specially from dacia portfolio...why? Different companies have different patents can't shared with Renault Nissan alliance based factory...

Engine upgrade is the single most important issue.
I was very excited about Triber after having a walk around in the showroom but then 1 ltr engine dampens the excitement.
Renault have updated few things accordig to them...Aleast they could have updated 6 airbags as standard atleast that would have been big update...

Availability of spares in open market, cost of spares and need to have service center within 50 kms. This will increase the resale value of the cars, is another issue of concern.

Sir I have ford figo 2010 model. It clocked 1.63k diesel engine. Now for repair service center is saying 1lakh rupees only for spares and labour extra. Dry Shaft, clutch, gas kit ,suspension etc.. I want to sell it and toyota u trust want to take it it for 70k.. now 2023 August make glanza is offered for 1.28k discount (life tax free) manual G model.
Now is it a good deal . I want to keep car for 10+ years and 70%-75% city, 25% highway in hyderabad city. Please guide me. Is it a good deal? Thank you 🙏

I think, Renault is offering many things in reasonable pricing. Where actually do they do cost cutting, in quality, engine or transmission or something else? Inspite of reasonable pricing, Why aren't they register good sales nos?

Cost cutting comes in the form of cheap hard plastic that rattles (the 2021 version had this issue, not sure about now), and sound damping within the cabin is low. Also, the 3 cylinder engine produces noticeable amount of vibration. and the power and torque is low on the base engine.(72 ps with 96nm torque). The Turbo is well in that regard.

i first thought of purchasing triber,,,, but now we have to rethink ....even minimum 6 airbags are missing ....forget about cosmetic features.... do they belive we Indians as fools....while in renaults overseas varients , they are providing everything.... even punch, exter, fronx, xuv300, etc etc all have minimum 6 airbags atleast

I was planning to buy Renault Triber and was eagerly waiting for engine upgradation.... But I am really disappointed... Reanult team doesn't understand the need of a customer. This may prove final nail in the coffin😟
