The undercut is amazing! I also like how the frame comes up around the mag release buttons. Should pretty much eliminate any accidental mag drops. First new gun I’ve seen in a while that I’m actually interested in shooting.
Another nice review! I think Kimber is onto something here in utilizing carbon fiber. I like all the texturing, too. As a Southpaw, it's nice to see it on both sides of the pistol and the other ambi features as well. 👍👍
Feel the same way when it comes to ambi mag releases; I always end up pushing against my own hand on the opposite side. It’s a cool feature in theory, but unless/until a mag release is developed where the buttons don’t move with each other, one will always be in the way. The Mako seems like a good value for sure, I just have a hard time getting over the bad rapp they’ve established over the last 10-15 years with quality and customer service… I’ve never owned one myself, for full transparency, but I’ve heard nothing but bad things from people who don’t absolutely baby their Kimbers (and just use them as range toys). Is that fair? Who knows, but time will tell I guess. Thanks as always!
Hello. No, it is not. In the first part of the video I discuss how it’s based on a completely new design by Mr. Bubbits. It has a completely different barrel locking system.
Kimber are coming out with some great firearms in 2024. Have the original Mako and it’s very reliable
I love the original Mako and this one did not disappoint. Thank you for stopping by.

I’m a big fan of the original Mako. The carbon compact did not disappoint! Thank you very much for stopping by.

Thank you for another great review
Considering this for my next purchase.
I like the look. It appears to be very ergonomic. It looks to be roughly the size of a Glock 19 but is more slim in thickness of the slide and grip.

Bubitz is spoken like Boo-bits. But not far off.
Great design. What does that role pin hold?
Is this a GEN 3 Glock clone by Kimber?

Glock can't make anything new
