Saw the whole parade live from seat just after turn onto Colorado. THIS BAND was THE best Entertainer and so exciting to see and hear. One of the America's Best High School Bands! Keep up the wowsa spirit and work!
The DeKalb county school district has most of the best high school marching bands in Ga. Many of the band directors are legendary FAMU alumni. The kids start to learn to play well really early, like 4th grade. Retired from there. Love that district.
great performance you should come see Shiloh High School In Snellville Georgia Were the best band in the land BABY AND ITS AMAZING HOW THERES DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF LOVELY DAY BUT NUN LIKE OUR BY OTHER THAN THAT GREAT PERFORMANCE

Says who? Southwest Dekalb, MLK and Stephenson HS bands have always modeled themselves after FAMU. SWD had about the same numberof DMs in this very same parade 6 years ago. They have fewer DMs now because the band is smaller. If you have the numbers, do whatcha wanna! If you've watched "The Quad" this is the Marching Cats" band and SW Dekalb was the A&T band in "Drumline." They're doing something right.

I haven't seen a high school marching band this good in years. I remember watching the Rose parade in awe when they performed.
