- I downloaded a mod pack that replaces all 48 original race tracks in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with custom modded courses. Some of them recreations of tracks from other consoles, some are completely original. All of them are worth seeing...

Here’s a tip for you, Jay: If you spam the item/horn button when you grab an item box, you get the item earlier than if you just wait for it. Really came in handy for me in online races.

I got an idea for a track. Absolute nightmare, and I do NOT want it to only be 1 lap, but here's the idea: You start on SNES Rainbow Road. After completing one lap there, you go on a glider trip to MK64 Rainbow Road, complete a lap there, and go on a glider trip to Mario Kart: Super Circuit Rainbow Road. Rinse and repeat for ALL 8 Rainbow Road tracks. For MK7, you would do the entire track. Once you have completed the MK8DX Rainbow Road, you go on a glider trip back to SNES Rainbow Road.
THAT is 1 lap.

I did see somebody take small bits of each Rainbow Road and combine them so I see this as a full version of that.

Fun fact ! In Mario Kart 7, there's a track titled "Rosalina's Ice World", which features Easter Eggs from MG ! E.g. the underwater section resembles Cosmic Cove Galaxy, The Gateway Galaxy starting Planet can be seen, as well as the Comet Observatory ! It's a really neat stage :]

Tip for Dodging Blue Shells:
Hit the mushroom right as the Blue Shell faces it’s spines towards you. Practice it a few times and you should get it down. Hope this helps on your future Mario Kart 8 endeavors! Love your MK vids btw

I’ve played MarioKart 7 on the 3DS when I was little. I played that game 24/7 and I’m REALLY good at the game. But watching Jay screaming at these mods is just hilarious. I love MarioKart :)

P.S. This pack was made during wave 2, which is why birdo doesn't have a name. Boshi Skatepark also has official half pipes now but the pack isn't updated for it.
Here Jay just so you know the first Mario kart had tracks with the same textures but different layouts so that’s where Mario circuit 2 and donut plains 2 come from
The reason Boo Lake was like the booster pass version was because it’s the version from Mario kart tour, which came out before it did in the booster pass

Did you know that omatsuri circuit is actually from another game? Wait this will be confusing at first but hear me, so know Super Mario kart DX? Or the ones that it's made by namco on Japan? So this circuit is exclusive to this arcade and one of the racers is don chan! "But who is don chan?" You may ask, don chan is from a rhythm game called Taiko no tatsujin/Taiko Drum Master. And is made by namco. The same that did this Mario arcade. . So yeah it's a collab!

if i remember correctly, i think boshi skatepark is from CTGP on the wii. if it isnt i do remember there being a skatepark map that looks pretty similar to boshi sp.
The track kingdom way is from Mario kart arcade. I played it at Dave & Buster’s for my birthday.

Mario kart arcade GP DX can be played on PC but it does need some setup. It's really fun though especially with a steering wheel.

Okay, think about the wheels of any car and imagine them as MK8DX actual circuits.
That's still something that needs to be added.

lightning actually is good for your skin. kinda. there's an electric thing that can cause pores to close properly after specific treatments, and it works by basically doing mini lightnings all over your skin.
Mario Kart SNES has like 40 courses, but they each only have 5 themes. That explains Donut Plains 2 and Mario Circuit 2. I think they all have like 5 versions, except for Rainbow Road, that only has 1.
The GBA boo lakes in the mod and BCP look the same because they are both ports of the Mk tour version of Boo Lake

You tried to blue shell dodge a bit too early. You need to use the mushroom right as the shell shows it's spikes, rather than when the shell shows it's belly.
I'm pretty sure the Boo Lake mod was taken from Tour like the Booster Pass version was, not the original, hence the Anti-Grav/broken-down-ness of it all.
