Oh man, xB could have won the first match. If he would have use the chorus fruit and doing breach to switch to iskall, in case that impulse did not switch to cleo, ikall would have survived the hat trick + poison because of the armor, and then with his base attack + bow would have eliminated tango.
Of course impulse could just switch and stall, but maybe he wouldn't
It would be pretty funny if someone changed the audio on horns to the actual hermits saying the attacks. Like blowing the horn and iskalls voice actually saying “Hallo!”
Make them like hermit names being chanted and make foam fingers for the tournaments beef is thinking of setting up

I thought only milk/water effects poison/burn and armor only works against base dmg not from effects other than bows/swords/axes.
Against Impulse, he could have attacked with chorus fruit and hoped to get a balanced item, then he would have won
I didn't understand Xb's play vs Impulse. He had a chorus fruit, so he attacked with Etho and switched to Hypno in the same turn, Tango down to 50 health. When switching turns, if he got a balanced item and Impulse didn't switch, then it would be his victory. I know the odds weren't great, if he didn't get an item he would lose, and if impulse decided to switch he would also lose. But still, it was 40 seconds of game to decide, it was worth the shot.

I'm yelling at my screen when you got the cobble card and didn't use it on Cub so you could have saved the grass block for Iskall!! Super fun to watch though, love these matches!!

I've noticed vocalization of every detail is very important in these matches - Impulse clearly said "That's it for me" and pressed the button without declaring an attack. Sleepy Joe can't read your mind!

@59:28 you should have used one of beefs cards 3 or 4 rounds prior to power up wels and save the grass Block to fully power iskall.
It’s funny (aka frustrating) watching different play styles. Lol. It’s easy to backseat play aggressively when you’re not actually playing. Lol.
Dang! That game against Beef was, as far as i know, the FASTEST match on the server... it was 2 turns played but technically a 3 turn win... Doc did beat Scar pretty quickly too but that was a 15min game not a 3 turn game... Dang it xB, go a little easy on the Beefers, that was an absolutely savage game!

The math is so simple but most hermits have to take their shoes and socks off to count past 10.
Most of them are streaming as they play doing anything in front of a group is a challenge

To make it different from burning, if I was Beef, I would have the poisson ignore armour, but never kill the hermit, leaving them at 10 life.

There needs to be noises outside the match, spectators talking or the jingle coming from the shop. It’s just too quiet.
Armor really should block status effects
Dude, y'all gotta bring this game to future seasons. I'm assuming that can be done with some sort of sorcery. From there, beef (and maybe whoever wants to do it with his approval) can add future cards to it. Maybe each new season is an expansion, but don't make that man build the cards again.
To clarify that last bit, just use that same sorcery to add more cards

plus, you switch way too much, you lose to many damgae and that is giving the opponent extra turns to put hermits down.

Am I wrong in saying milk is an effect not single use so can't be applied when wearing diamond armor because the slot is taken?
I believe it can be used either way, both as a single use to remove existing poison, and equipment to prevent any attempts to poison. If I understand the card instructions correctly
As The Nope Queen said, it absolutely is a two-way card (as is the water bucket). Using it as single-use gets rid of poison/fire. Using it as a Effect card placed beside the hermit will prevent Poison/Fire. Most people use it the former but it can be a game-changer to place it if you're really down to the wire and the opponent has a Rare Etho (coin flip for blue fire) or Rare Xisuma (coin flip for poison) which, if cards are fully powered, can possibly deal that damage every single attack.
Beef exasperated at the game like he's not the one who just spent 7 months making the thing is hilarious
