If she is popular why is she scared to hold fair election. It is extremely irrelevant to impose a quota for grandchildren of freedom fighters. But why- it it relevant after 50 years. She tried to arouse sympathy by citing instances of atrocities done in 1971. Why should there be quota for them after 50 years. This uprising was not dealt with prudence by Hasia and its government. So many good deeds by Hasina were washed away by this student uprising.

I just made a VPN connection and gave you this message. Can't say or write much here because they are monitoring it. And, the biggest problem is that I or those like me who work online and earn money are in danger. Communication with my foreign client is stopped because I had group connectivity with them on social media and is it not due to facebook and whatsapp shutdown? I run my house with it, now what? 🤔

She used excessive force to clamp down on the opposition and its supporters. Many opposition leaders and their supporters have been killed and many more have been jailed in appalling conditions before and during the elections in Bangladesh. She has been ruling the country with an iron fist where she is using the security agencies to crush her opponents and human rights have been abused and even her opponents have been put to the gallows.
