    The most Dangerous Band in the World, back when they were young and hungry. Appetite for Destruction is a ferocious album; it's dirty, rank and packs a shitload of sonic firepower - a snapshot of the hedonistic extremes that made up life on the Sunset Strip in the excessive 80s when Axl's snarling howl served notice to the spandex hair bands of the day that their time was over. Classic song from an instantly classic album.

    Guns n Rose's was by far the biggest rock band of their era... hold many records. In fact Axl "lead singer" was know for having the largest range of any singer, I think untill recently someone I heard dethroned him from that title. This was their first single from their debut album... they have so many great songs across so many albums that you can almost just pick songs blindly to react to without fail. Slash "lead guitarist" is widely respected as one of the best guitarist of his generation... and their are a lot if great guitarist out there... I would suggest sticking to this Album first, the moving through the top songs on each album. That will maximize the number of reactions and get a feel for the evolution of their sound. Truly a great band... Next up should be Welcome to the Jungle, and do the official music video... Enjoyed your reaction! Keep it up...

      @@luckpoof7261 But is this list accurate? Because Axl rose's high singing sounds more like a scream than actual singing. If that is the case then I would think Mark Slaughter or Miljenko Matijevic would beat Axl Rose. And I won't lie, I like GNR music mostly because of Slash but I always thought Axl Rose was a horrible singer. He didn't sing, he screamed. That's not singing to me.

      @@spirittammyk what makes axl's voice sounds up is his powerful mix voice and his control, and he also had a rare ability to sing with a duophonic voice,which may sound to some as screaming but believe it requires a lot of practice. And his a baritone so he has that in his advantage, that's why he has a bigger vocal range. But it's always debatable because they are tons of singers out there.

    • @Mystress1980
      @Mystress1980 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@spirittammyk They consider it a note if it can be sustained. Like, if someone just screams for a split second, that's not considered because they can't hold it. Axl has (or had) a 5 octave range (not the largest, but in top 5 of modern singers). Freddie Mercury didn't have the widest range, but his voice was a scientific annomally . It literally rang out differently, so he was truly unique. You don't need to hit the lowest of lows or highest of highs when you've got that going for you :) There will never be another Freddie because he was just built differently.

    OMG....this is so freaking awesome! Brings back a memory from when I was like 19-20 and I'm 62 now. Just like it was yesterday! I'm in the country. We've got lots of dirt roads and two tracks, and there was a carload of us out cruisin' and boozin' (and a lil' smoke...and it was really illegal back then!)..this song came on, the car stopped in the middle of the dirt road we were on, everyone got out and danced hard, and when the song was over, we hopped back in and carried on! What a wonderful memory. Thank you for that!!!
