I've had my iPhone 4S for around three months now and I have zero complaints about it. It's been reliable, and just as fast as the day I got it. I definitely recommend this device!

The only reasons I don't like this phone anymore are 1. Looks the same as before 2.too small 3.iOS 8 fucked up the performance 4.bad battery life(idk if its just my phone) 5.youtube keeps crashing(even before iOS 8) I used to like it a whole lot more before iOS 8😭

I bought my very 1st iPhone 4S yesterday and I love the bloody thing. Been wanting one for years and I've finally GOT ONE! I still have much to learn about it, but I don't think I'll be going back to an android smartphone anytime soon.
Thanks. The other problem with having an external battery case is always having it on after a charge. It's last longer by doing that, but I get paranoid of having my phone in a constant charging mode. I did that on my old iPhone 4. It actually lasted 1 1/2 days with regular use.
+Monefa Scott yes. I'm using one right now. No, they don't have 3-D touch and fancy camera work, but it's still a really good phone. They aren't slippery and you don't have to worry about camera lens scratching. Just be aware, some apps won't be compatible with the iPhone 4!
I did the same a few months ago, and trust me if you upgrade to Apple you won't even look back, even with only 2 days on my iPhone its like 50x faster than the Windows Nokia I had

I've had the 4s since Nov 2011 and other than the battery, I've had no major or even minor issues with it. It really is the best phone. I was sure of this about 2 years ago and even when the 5 came out I realized that it's still a superior device. I was sad that people didn't realize the superiority of the 4s over 5, and even possibly the 5s. I've heard reviews where the 5s heats up because the aluminum absorbs the heat around you etc.... no problems like that with the 4s. Still working great after 2 years 10 months. Not as fast as 5 or 5s but very stable.

Great iPhone 4s review! My step-grandmother's brother is giving his 4s to me since he finally got himself the iPhone 6. This is a perfect starter iPhone for me since I'm new to I.O.S. devices. I'm totally blind, and after watching this review, I'm taking the offer since my step grandmother's brother told me I could have his iPhone 4s. I played around with the voice-over screen reader on my cousin's iPhone 4 a few weeks ago. Now that this iPhone 4s has Siri, I'm more satisfied. The good thing is that I don't have to worry about going over minutes since my uncle, and aunt changed their plan to an unlimited plan. I'm excited to get my hands on the 4s. Thank you for helping me make my final choice! Plus, this is a great iPhone for me to get started since the iPhone 6 had bending issues when it was released a few months ago. I'll watch this video on my 4s in the future, and let you know what I think about it. Once again, thank you!
I have never, ever been more proud of any other phone than my 4s. You cant hate it if you havnt tried it. people use to hate apple and iphones cause they use a different phone or a different device but its usually because of the high prices. Im never going back to any other phone. Period. You get more with more money.

just purchased an Iphone 4 myself and I kinda like it...my first iOS phone...I can attest its pretty much different from androids but heck for 99 bucks (prepaid from Verizon ) I am cool with it although I prefer my LG Optimus F7 due to the size overall
Even if this review is a bit old, I'm getting a 4S tomorrow and updating it for iOS7. My wife just did that and I've messed around with it all day and feels really smooth and nice. So I'm getting a black one 4S and will wait another year and see if I upgrade to 6 or 6s then :)

I just had the s4 galaxy, and after 3 weeks I returned it. Just because I got tierd of the plastic feeling and quirks from the backplate. I've also tried the S4 Active model, but after 2-3 weeks I missed the quality of an iphone. I'm on the edge of getting either the 4S or the 5, my big consern is actually the money from 4S and 5, if its worth it to me. I will probably go for the 4S since it's a nice phone even if it's a few years old.
All the "S" are better, from the 3GS video recording, gps, ... Etc, 4s with Siri, 5s with Touch ID, and finally with 6s 3D Touch. That's why S are mostly internal improvements from the original models instead of the physical improvement like the overall appearance.
An extremely good phone even though it's a few years old. Worth getting if the iPhone six is out of your price range. Technically there are better spec phones for the price but when these phones have faded the iPhone four s will still be remembered.
With the iOS 6 update , AT&T decided to market HSPA+ 14 mbps as 4G like T-Mobile does. It said 3G in the past because AT&T market anything under 21 mbps as 3G and 21 mbps as 4G. This made the iPhone a 4G phone since the iPhone runs on 14 mbps HSPA+. Technically, HSPA+ is 3.5G or 3.75G technology.

I feel like a fanboy here as this is my 3rd comment praising the 4s. I've had the 4s since 2011 Nov, and no major problems with it. Battery life is my only complaint but if you don't mind charging once a day, no big deal. I'm quite surprised to see how good the 4s still performs to the point that the only advantage of the 5s that I can observe and that gives you the money's worth is the faster interface and the bigger screen. Otherwise, it will do exactly the same as the 4s.
Great review. I prefer lower priced prepaid 3g plans. I need a better phone and a 4S is one of the higher rated phones using 3G . This video really helps to understand it's functions.
Cool review. Got a question, I have sprint and I am able to upgrade my phone (I have an HTC evo shift) and I can get iPhone 4S free but it is Sprint Pre-owned. Would this be a bad idea? I don't know how well cell phone companies fix pre-owned phones so I am kind of concerned. Never had an iPhone before but would be nice to have iTunes on a phone since Android has nothing like iTunes.

If you do want to upgrade your iphone, I would wait for the iPhone 5s, which will be released soon. And if you do not want to pay much money you can upgrade to the iphone 5 (also when the iphone 5s is released)

hey man this might not be your iphone's fault but your wifi connection it depends where you are around the house in some areas you might get a better signal than other, I would recommend getting a giffgaff sim as you can get very cheap deals there for internet so you can use it not only at home :)
I think the standby time got decreased is cuz when apple was testing iphone4 was with ios4, ios5 consume more (notification center) so that's why the time is shorter!

Ky Cigni Based on my experience with my 5s...it doesnt heat up yeah it gets KIND OF warm with alot of usage which happens to all phones.

Even though the Samsung Galaxy seems to be the big thing now, I am still a loyal apple fan. I am probally going to get the 4S tommorow.
I think the standby time got decreased is cuz when apple was testing iphone4 was with ios4, ios5 consume more (notification center) so that's why the time is shorter!
