      @StoicInYourLife  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you for sharing this profound quote from Seneca! It beautifully captures the essence of Stoicism and the message of our video. Prosperity allows us to enjoy the fruits of our efforts, yet it's in adversity that our true character and resilience shine through. Embracing both aspects with equanimity teaches us the invaluable lesson of inner strength and attractiveness. Let's continue to cultivate these socially attractive habits, finding allure not just in what we say, but in the silent grace of how we face life's ups and downs.

      @@StoicInYourLifeI like that you take the position that clothes, our raiments, can be a focus of self- expression. So often the more austere philosophies promote an aesthetic of such blah practicality that I find I reject the philosophy because I think the physical is fun and important. Not for status, just for rejecting and enhancing and expressing ourselves in a 'holistic', complete way...
      I guess that sort of Spartan approach stems from Roman Ideals and Traditional Contemplative Catholicism. I have been a 'monk'. I am happier surrounded by beauty and quality and a kind of lush, yet completely functional, environment....nice. Thanks😊
