This is why Kevin is simply the BEST! Always providing live coverage, even after a 10 hour live stream, he came back up and shared this event with all of us. Thank you Kevin for all your amazing work!!
@@michaellashchuk9629 I totally agree with you. Kevin has raised the bar to everything related to plane spotting. They can try to keep copying him, but they will never reach Kevin's professionalism, passion and dedication.
As a lifelong resident of Los Angeles I can tell you there are lots of things to dislike about this city but I can’t imagine a better airport to land at with an emergency than LAX. We saw the airport fire equipment and some reg fire equipment standing by and I can bet you there were 10 or 12 paramedic ambulances standing by somewhere on the airport property.
A few years ago, the flaps didn’t extend. We came down hard and really fast. They bought everyone : fire trucks, ambulances- the works. We circled for an hour whilst they ran diagnostics whilst in the air. The plane used the length of the runway as we landed so fast, couldn’t slow the plane down in the air because the flaps could not be extended… everyone clapped for the aircrew. We didn’t really understand the severity of the potential issue until we saw the fire trucks at the end of the runway.
Better to have them on scene and not need them, than to need them and not have them there. Chicago sends an EMS Plan 1 as part of the standby response for aircraft emergencies at either O’Hare or Midway airport; that is 5 ALS ambulances.
The AA flight that landed was originally having gear issues and ATC thought they might be landing belly up. Thankfully they were able to do a manual gear release and only needed to stop on the runway for inspection.

Excellent Kevin always on the job.

My daughter is a flight attendant on the American Eagle (SkyWest) E175's Landing at 7:15
she was on that plane?
Once a news man, always a news man! You couldn't have been in a better location to catch all the action front and center! Great Job!!!!
As a kid, we used to watch the planes at LAX from the hills you are on. I even took my own kids there.
5:57 that stair truck has a broke frame. Got an F-350 at home.
I'm glad all turned out so well. Thanks for letting us know the details.
You are the best Kevin!

My cousin is one of those firemen out there on the ramp.

Congratulations on 657K subscribers, Kevin 🎉🎉🎉
Iberia flying the A350 from LA is great! I was kinda hoping they would give us a choice besides the A330.

Around 9:30, look at all those ambulances waiting in the background, "just in case."

What happened on your plane?
It seems there was a problem, and it either went away or fixed itself. Thanks Kevin.

You can see the Fire Department in the distance
Something is always going on @ LAX...
Good Evening Kevin How's Everything Been Seriously😳 What Happened
I’m seeing this a bit late, but did anyone receive a squawk 7700 from FlightRadar 24? I didn’t get this alert.
No report on Aviation Herald as of now.
They must have thought they had a real problem when they brought all of the apparatus in from outside LAX. They brought the cavalry.
Are the Red Fire engines LAFD?
Yep
The Fed EX flight might have unstable hazardous cargo onboard
The AA flight that landed was originally having gear issues and ATC thought they might be landing belly up. Thankfully they were able to do a manual gear release and only needed to stop on the runway for inspection.
Is this live?
No. It was yesterday.
Remember the time fedex arrived at 25R with mlg not locked down?
This is nothing scary, I almost had a tire kill me at the indy 500 today
Nah cus on the broadcast you saw the tire fly off and not one person said anything for about 10mins it seemed I really thought it hit someone
It hit a white car in the parking lot but no telling if people were walking near there at that time but that tire was a missile..glad you’re ok 👍
That flying tire was really scary.
@@willhpc4-life249 There's a somewhat uplifting TH-cam video already up spending a few minutes with the woman whose car it smashed.
That’s nice!!! I’m glad.
A Tire was Blown ??? 😳😲 Damn
The pilots seemed to think it was. Don’t think they actually did.
@@FireLordJohn3191 then what happen?
@@angelajackson4248 Don't know. They thought the tires were blown, but apparently they didn't.
Flight 828 landed again...
B-O-R-I-N-G!!!!!!!!!! In other words, nothing to report here, move along!
is every one ok
Maybe 1 out 20 times I see the yellow crash rescue trucks out and about somethings bound to happen.

"Much ado about nothing"
After
Effects adobe looks like it with the time frames
At like 12 fps just run t this through a radio sound system or a news radio to see if the video is live
And see how fast it takes to load
Why are there bus shuttles on air take off field
So far an excellent report of really nothing
What’s with the CRAP at the bottom of the screen?!?
Why is LAX always on the news with stuffs like this. It’s scary. They have to put extra safeguards in their place.

It's not the airports fault
Safeguards have nothing to do with a possible gear malfunction lmao.
What was the chinese man doing w ith the camera taking pictures?
Kevin doesn’t own the hill.
Still deadly corona pandemic and they are flying around the world 🤭
Next day they fly over a War Zone and making Russia guilty for not making it.
Pilot has severe flatulence.
