  • Just cruising about from a new spot with DCW. Probably won't bother coming back here, but was good to have a look.

Like do you have an equipment list you use?? What does it cost to get setup?...how good is the detail in the Goggles? Have you ever done head tilt cameras? Can you build me a kit?

@@pchaig7438 a basic plane with flight controller and DJI vtx will be about $500-600 depending on the components you choose. DJI digital FPV gear is really amazing, but there is also Walksnail to consider. Watch reviews and comparisons to make your own choice. I will link my build video separately.

@@pchaig7438 on top of the stuff in the plane, you need the goggles and long range transmitter. If you already have a radio that can take a module then go ELRS or Crossfire. These will be expensive if starting from scratch. Consider the Radiomaster Boxer with inbuilt ELRS and 6A battery. You will need to research and learn to install and use everything.

@@pchaig7438 I guess by the time you add up goggles and vtx, LR radio, batteries, flight controller, GPS, plane, servos, motor, charger, (and not counting soldering kit, heat shrink, battery plugs, wire, glue and all the other bits to complete a build), you'd be up for at least $2000, probably more.
And a LOT of time to research each component, solder, install the right software, configure, trouble shoot, etc. It's part of the journey.
