Completed Tales of Arise? Does progression carry into Beyond the Dawn... This is WEIRD!

- The Tales of Arise DLC expansion, Beyond the Dawn is now available! As somebody who loved ToA, I was excited to have a reason to get back to playing it. However, as somebody who completed the original game I wondered what that meant for my progression when playing the expansion.

I think those weapons are meant for players who are playing the main story from a vanilla run.
Completed and got all the trophies!
- The Sovereign/Maiden outfits don't carry over but are obtainable in the DLC - apparently through a quest that some people have issues triggering. (No issues for me.)
- The Devil's Arms are available from the final dungeon albeit locked behind a special door near the entrance. Their stats do NOT carry over, you have to farm kills again.
- The fishing rods are obtainable via one of the packages, I had all my rods. There are a couple of quests about Boss Fish so they're handy for that but it's possible to just buy those from the Owl King.
- Many items such as enemy drops can be bought at camp sites and such. I only had a couple of exceptions when it came to quest clearing. You can exploit this to make the best (normal) weapons very early. I had plenty of instant money from DLC to clear everything and have plenty left over.
On another note, Solo training mode has a couple of higher difficulties (recommended LVs 90 + 95 respectively). The main game didn't get them.
Can you please help me?, i'm still looking for the Iron pipe for Alphen's sword, but i don't know where it is..
@@SpardaVergil666 I had trouble with that but in the end it didn't matter because a better weapon eventually showed up in the menu which I was able to instantly make.

I plan on playing the expansion but I want to finish It Takes 2 first. Really enjoying that game. I guess they want to make the game more challenging for players in the expansion.

They are there to make the game more of a challenge because people probably thought that it was to easy or something I mean those preorder weapons lol that's what it seems like to me

Anyone know if I play and get the trophies for the ps5 version will they sync over to ps4 version? Or do I have to play it on ps4?
But can we carry the ultimate weapons from dawn to the main game?

Lol so annoying that most of my stuff didn't carry over all that grinding ugh
It's such a slap to the face for players that did everything in the base game.
yea Like all that grinding for devil arms in the main game like 300+hours to pretty much max them out pretty much pointless since theyr unusable in the dlc let me rephrase this if your outside japan you have to use a 2hour code to get everything from the main game devil arms included and a 15 more dlcs that code is pretty much gone already if your UK etc all you can do is complain to bandai about it but if your in japan or live there congratz you get all of it integrated into game and a few dozen extra coliseum fights

well this sucks. only caught the game on xbox store because the DLC was a new release. all that grinding in the main game for nothing. no way I am going to start over now. on to something else. might revisit it a few years.

you also don't carry any accessories over either. Rubbish expansion in my opinion makes no sense starting you at level 65 when i was 100 and removing gear is pointless.
Fuzz, at least it will carry the artifacts. They are a big deal, but to lose the devils arms is such a painful loss…
Still this DLC is a must for me, time to play :)

Trust me. Most people have moved on from Tales of Arise. With Persona 3 Reload, FFVII Rebirth and Yakuza Infinite Wealth out early next year? Trust me. Not many give a shit about this late expansion.

This is so damn lazy. Finished Tales of Arise ages ago, and honestly, it was lackluster in the content department. Have no intention on revisiting this game. Would rather play Tales of Vesperia again. Just wish they would bring the Xillia games and Graces F. But they keep dicking around and focusing on Symphonia. 🙄
Broo I’ve been waiting for xillia 2 remaster since forever. If they can port symphonia to ps4, why can’t they do it for xillia
