How does a person get to Union Station or the LaSalle Street station via Metra from Homewood? That train line runs to Millennium Park.
Correct, the Metra Electric line from Homewood goes to Millennium Park. I'll have to fix that! Thanks for letting me know.

Depends on where you're looking and what neighborhoods you consider "bad" I've sold many nice homes under 250K in the past year.

Very informative. If you create another video, perhaps you can provide visuals. Maybe drive through and create a recording of the towns and neighborhoods that you spoke so highly of that way, potential relocators can see what the town actually look like. Thanks

Also IL was my first suburb as a young child. Then my parents bought a house in Oak Lawn where I lived through High School then I moved into the surrounding burbs in the next town over.

How do you guys feel about lansing? Crime,safety and schools is a huge deal
Lansing is a solid choice overall. Only problem is it's so close to the Indiana border that folks who are looking there save more by living in Indiana and paying lower property taxes.
