Im late to the party but i actually love Ginny because same, girl....i grew up with a young immature mom. It is exhausting being the mature one your whole childhood....when you hit that hormonal teen stage everything comes pouring out and all the bitterness youve been holding back for your whole life comes to the surface. I love my mom and we're besties now but growing up during her prime party days was ROUGH. Then to find out that everything she ever told you was a lie and even after being harrassed by her ex, she immediately jumps into another relationship with some rich guy is so FRUSTRATING. It is so annoying not even being able to be comfortable in your own home because there might be some random man walking around. I have been there and understand her 100%....even up to the issues she has in season 2 🥺🥺

No offense but Ginny’s poem was cool and all but it wasn’t an ESSAY. Did it even reach the required word count. I mean I’m sorry but I wouldn’t pick her one either.
I can't say I disagree with you. The lesson Ginny missed here was not following the instructions on the assignment. I think sometimes she confuses having a voice with being rebellious. It stems from her not having respect for authority. It doesn't;t help that the professor is gross. He is supposed to be teaching her and instead does anything he can to antagonize her. He missed the opportunity to drive home the assignment for the essay. The classroom scenes are always so cringe.

Ginny is complex!!!! She definitely is rude! But I love that she has a voice and can stand up for herself. Just wish she respected her Mom more. She did the best she could with what she had.
