I got one this past October, a 2010 SE R Spec V with a LSD trans , it had about 70k miles (109k KMs) on it . Paid 9k CAD for it and still drives and looks almost like new still . No leaks and she still pulls hard . Loving this car , highly underrated and overlooked tbh .

I currently drive an '07 SE-R Spec V. I absolutely love it! I had an "04 SE-R Spec V prior to that. I will say that these cars are completely underrated!
Proud owner of a ‘12 spec v. Had the car since new, now closing in on 250,000 miles. The engine is great, she has a couple oil leaks that I need to take care of when I get a chance ( valve cover gasket and oil cooler seals). Replaced the clutch and flywheel at 215,000 miles or so. Just replaced the original alternator that gave up the ghost a week ago. Struts and shocks have been replaced once, next time going to replace the tired springs with new ones, front lower control arms too. The rear bushings for the rear suspension beam need to be replaced. But all in all doing the preventive maintenance on this car has kept it running very well. And the paint is cheap, have a few peeling areas on the hood and above the driver rear passenger door. Most of the paint issues are due to rock chips that got out of hand. But I love my car, and will drive it til the wheels fall off.

That “choke” on long commutes was the knock sensor. You have to deaden the noise to it and you would have unlocked your cars full potential
Nissan started to cheap out around 2003/2004 when they started to redesign their existing cars and release new models. Everything from the full size Armada and Titan to the Versa were poorly built.
Interesting considering the armada, titan, and versa (if you opted for a manual) are super dependable. doesn’t rust like Americans, motors are competitively speced and reliable, transmissions were solid if it wasn’t a cvt. And interior didn’t have any more hard plastic then every other non luxury car from the mid 2000s-mid 2010s
7 seconds 0-60 with 200hp and lightweight?. Something not adding up.
That’s what the new SI does! FWD without grippy tires isn’t a good recipe🤧
How in the world do you turbocharge a 2.5l and make 23 hp & 8 ft-lbs more than the NA engine...
Not turbo
Its still a 2.5 and no turbo. Maybe you are high?
Its NA
that clunky creaky bumpy shit is just a nissan thing i swear.
Never touch a Nissan with a 10 feet pole.
Well with a stick it's a different story
Also depends on how old the Nissan is. Automatic transmissions before 2007 were mostly torque converter automatics except the Murano.
Family member has a 2012 Rogue and she's never done anything to it but regular maintenance to it. She's a typical mom and its never been babied.
420k on my nissan altima 2016.
@@occckid123 had a 2012 altima never had a problem with it. Up until it got sandwiched.
Good car. Just kinda ugly.
