I had been recently to Wai, Pachgani and Mahabaleshwar. On way to Mumbai on 26th March, we had taken halt at Wai Vitthal Kamat restaurant. Sorry to submit, services were not upto mark. I have very high regards for his chain of hotels all over the world. I have heard his interview wherein his nature of humanity and test of his interiors. It is learnt from the market that his franchisees are not maintaining quality of Kamat Hotels. Mr Kamat is requested to look into it. Regards to him.
Dr Vithal Kamat himself is PhD holder but often tells people to quit studies. What he is thinking about himself? Education is for everyone whether he is rich or poor.
I am also a Kamat from Bihar and our forefathers comes from Western part of India and I want to find my roots.

Looks like vitthal kamat chain of Hotels has now started giving franchise.
Yesterday was travling in Poona near Bhugao. Saw board of vitthal kamat and his famous logo on one Hotel and was relaxed by thinking that found a good hotel.
It was 9 pm. Stopped the car in front parking and went inside.Asked where is washroom . Was shown outside washroom.
This was worst than common muncipal toilet. No warer at all.
Dirty yellow stint on toilet pots and wash basin.
Asked for simple sandwitch.
The answer was you will get only selected dishes, no tea, no coffee.
This is the type of service offered by vitthal kamat
Friends never go to vitthal kamat hotel by seeing that emblem. You are cheated by it.
