i am 35 years old ,After a long misdiagnosis when i was 15 years old I was diagnosed with VST. The reason I was misdiagnosed for so long was because I also suffer from Raised Spinal Pressure. I was losing my eye sight and I was uncontrollably vomiting and my head hurt unlike anything I ever felt before. I also would have what I thought where stroke or seizures. . I had Meningytis when I was 4 years old. I had recently been on A contraception called depo provera. I was told eventually thru MRI that they thought I had PSEUDO TUMOR CEREBRI because everything i had mimic'd that but actually thru a venography they seen a bloodclot in the left transverse sinus. I was put on Diamox for the intracranial hypertension and warfarin and lovenox for the clot. the clot eventually did go away but the spinal hypertension never did. I still take diamox and now i am at a point where its not working and i was told at some point a shunt would have to be done but i wasn't an ideal canidate because of the meningytis factor. I was diagnosed at CHOP (philadelphia) What I dont understand is why I still suffer from the pressure in my head. The only reason I am walking and living a somewhat normal life is because of the Diamox, but now that its not working I am in so much pain I can feel the pressure, I can hear it in my ears, my eyes ae blurry.. its terrible. I never undertood why I was told this would probably be my life when other ppl heal from venus sinus thrombosis.
I jgot this stroke before 4 months I'm 26 yr old male... My left side not working properly.. facing problems of fine motor skills. How is this different than paralysis? How much time it will take for complete recovery? Pls guide me...

I had the pfizer vaccine and I have got severe pain at top of my skull for 3 days. It has been 9 days since I took 2nd dose of the vaccine when that occurred. Now I continue to have severe pain on and off sometimes in the same spot and back of skull too.
After 1 Pfizer (5 days later), I was admitted to the hospital for severe head pain. I’ve never had before. It never stopped never went away for eight weeks. It’s been two years and my head still has pain nearly every day and I’ve zero help from any of the doctors I’ve gone to. I have two small children and it’s very concerning. Please keep me in your prayers for God’s miraculous healing.😢
just an update . Legs still get very sore from working out and with certain words I have to think for a little before figuring which word to say. Other than that I'm ok. That's post hemmorhage

I have this and they did an angiogram and failed to remove the clot. My brain miraculously grew a new vein to drain the blood from my brain.
Can this be seen on a brain mri without contrast?

I also have this. Was rushed to the hospital last week and now I am home. Trying to learn what life is like living with us. It’s also brand new.
If I were you I would try a v low carb diet since insulin resistance may be related to IIH (and lose weight if overweight).
