For nearly three decades, the team has saved countless primates - across 20 countries - from lives of cruelty, abuse, and neglect. This safe haven is now home to more than 200 monkeys and apes. The dedicated staff never stop in their quest to save animals from being mistreated by owners, ending up in laboratories or being exploited in the entertainment industry.

R.I.P. Betty Boo. She was so cute, they look so much bigger on camera than what they really are. It breaks my heart when I see these little monkeys on TikTok, I refuse to watch their videos. I think it should be illegal to own any wild animal.
I agree, I’ve seen videos of orangutans being used as photographers prop, it makes me so angry! If I see one I comment about how these poor apes are in that situation in the first place and how they’re treated.
@@ShyAnn291 I always tell anyone I see with a wild animal that they are cruel that those animals belong in the wild and that their parents and other family members were killed just so they could have it. And they have no clue how to care for them properly so they end up malnourished, sick, sad, depressed and very unhappy. They belong with their own kind.

They always mention the well-meaning but clueless owners. I am sure there are enough of that kind, besides the really cruel owners, but I don't understand: when I take a pet in I go reading and asking everything I have to know about diet, housing, social structure of the species.... is that so hard?

So they can come through the first into the second.
Then if they try to escape the end box there's still hope with the box behind?

D3. Cause they’re kept indoors. I’ve seen the staff inject worms with d3 and that’s how they give it to them.
