I bought one of these about 14 years ago and put it on 3 inch locking casters so it is probably about the same height as this guy's. To deal with the imbalance I put a big pin through the back upright member and put about a hundred pounds of barbell plates on it. Works great even with 18 gauge cold rolled have made a lot of complex curves over the years.
Most Shop Equipment is designed to be bolted down and so many people don’t want to because they’re wanting everything mobile. A lot of “ flex” from these is actually the entire thing moving around. Treat all your equipment like you do with a bench vise Mount it firmly . Even anchoring my drill press was a major improvement that you’ll never expect unless you do it.
I just bought the JEG’s wheel. I understand it is identical to the Harbor Freight wheel, but has additional anvils that do not come with the HF unit. My decision to go with the JEG’s wheel was based on the unavailability of the anvils although there was talk of the Eastwood anvils working with HB with some modifications. I was pleased to see the runout of your anvils and the 8” wheel! I hope to get close with my anvils.
@@tradrodsandcustoms You ever buy a set that fits, and if so what brand? I'm looking at some LOUDERLUN brand but says the shaft needs some slight modification to fit HF
@@rosskstar Eastwoods lower dies fit perfectly. I havnt bought a set yet but will be soon. I have a friend who bought them though and theyre identical to what harbor frieght used to sell

@@tradrodsandcustoms Right but only 4 instead of 6 and wind up with 2 3" anvils ~feels like de-industrialization!
