Ironically, revealing the trick made everyone respect him even more. It takes mad skills and years of dedicated practice in order for anyone to do this.
For another example: I know exactly how Kostya Kimlat did the trick that fooled Penn and Teller on his first appearance on their show, but that doesn't mean I could do it. If I try the main move he used it requires a lot of concentration and it's slow enough that it's obvious what I'm doing; to be able to do it at speed a few feet away from P&T while chattering away to them requires huge amount of practice, and I'm extremely doubtful I could ever get my fingers to move that quickly and smoothly anyway.
Also can you imagine trying to create this trick? There are so many steps that have to be done perfectly, just creating the idea, then having to practice and gain the skill level needed.
Even the secret was revealed, it's still not easy to be able to do it seamlessly like the way he did it, not to mention coming up in creating this elution - magic 😮😀😀
yeah. I mean anyone who understand anything about slight of hands know that this must have had a way behind it, and most of those I knew anyway, but one thing is to know how it's done, and completely another to practice this and perform this so fluently and with ease and charm...that knowing changes nothing. Shin Lim is freakin awesome. I respect his act for the performance alone, let alone thinking that made this possible. It's "his" original act and it's absolutely wonderful watching him.
One of the main reasons I don't mind magic reveals. We ALL already know magic isn't real. So that isn't being spoiled. I think it's great we can all see how talented great magicians really are - they work hard and I think they deserve to have people know how much work goes into these illusions. We all get to be mystified when we first watch the trick, we got to be an audience member for the magical story and experience the magician wanted to present, that can never be taken away from any of us, that first moments of shock and awe. Seeing how it was done doesn't ruin that, I think it enhances the wow factor.
@@MagnumDB magic is real. The problem is it's misunderstood. Magic is not waving a wand around creating fireworks, it's an "act that to observer seem unrealistic and unexplainable so they start asking themselves ade they sane while being amazed. That's magic. This not only have to be a card trick or sleight od hand. To me magic is watchifng a bulgarian gipsy play trumpet or violin or watching turks make bourek. When i see it, i know that it's not some devil business, but my jaw still drops all the way down and i can't even begin to grasp, to try to explain "how". 😉
I remember when Shin appeared on Penn & Teller Fool Us and did the same set or one that is very similar (first appearance). Penn then said that they were beat by the sheer volume of tricks that Shin was dishing out. He was so fast and flawless that they just couldn't keep up. This explanation video is spot on, and it makes me respect card magic a lot more than before.
It’s so skillful how he executed this in front of a live audience. Lots of sleight of hand, memorization and movements. It has to be executed perfectly to work. Amazing.
And usually, the truly great magicians can fool you again and again with same trick, because often times, there more than one way to do a trick. So, when you think you know how a trick is done, that's when you are most vulnerable to the same trick.
You get more interested in what they are doing, because the reveal shows it isn't a cheap gimmick. This is years and years of practice! Utterly amazing!
Thank you for the video . But after all , we know this took Shin Lim a lot of time to practice and yet i love how he so confident infront of thousand people . Amazing magician ❤
Fantastic!!!! I'm just as amazed at his strategy and slight of hands than his actual "magic" trick. Just mind boggling how he thinks up all this stuff, then actually performing it in front of people. That takes mad skills!!!!
THE KEYWORD FOR THAT IS " SLEIGHT OF HAND". IM NOT SURPRISED TO CARDS MAGICIAN COZ MY LATE UNCLE MARIANO REVEALED US HOW HE DID IT DURING OUR CHILDHOOD DAYS. BUT THE PERFORMANCE WAS AMAZING & SPECTACULAR FOR MAN COULD DO IT IN JUST BLINK OF AN EYE.SO PROUD & WORTH IT👏👏👏
If this secret is actually how Shin tricks us then I think he has an IQ of 300 way beyond human imagination ❤❤❤... He's my all time favorite AGT winner and I'm sure he will always be...
My god even after this video revealing everything, I just keep thinking that’s so many elements in a single performance to get right. So much fine motor skills and precision.
Great explanation. However, around 9:48, you said that Shin switched the queen card with a blank card before giving it. That means, the queen card is in left hand of Shin along with the deck. So, when Shin picked up the blank card on the table around 10:03, how on earth the queen card appears then? His hand is clearly empty when he picked that blank card. Also for that last trick, then the judge should have notice when she place her hand that the plastic card is already hard and has been switched? same with when Shin dropped the cards at the back of the table, she should have hear that as well around 15:55. Other than those, great explanation.
yea i see what said.. the blank car is on the table and the Q was in his left hand.. he never touch the blank card but the blank card that on the table that he said had the Q when he flip it
this is another example of even when you reveal the secret it takes immense skill to preform this seamlessly even with slow mo it wasn't the easiest to spot the moves (you can still see them but not cloud 9 easy)
@@Kay-dx8vm simple logic. The show got popular by make people amazed and to make people amazed is his performance. So you have to make him performance perfectly from every aspect and void people notice. The job done
Everything is close to what he did beside the magnet you said. If the card had a magnet she would have felt that the card is heavier or something and ask him why but I think he did something else. You can figure it out Im sure :D
How observant. What an explanation. Your channel is a treat for me. I don't call them magicians, I call them tricksters. None of these amazing performers claim that they know some secret "mantra", they are performers to fool the audience. Go watch the "Fool Us" shows. And, they are so good, months and years to finalize the concept(s), months and years of practice...unbelievable. Hats off to them. And to you, keep up the good work, our support will be with you.
To then deconstruct this amazing art to just a "trickster" is, in my opinion, devaluing the performance they give. It's not just their sleight of hand, it's the entire presentation and execution. The way they're fooling you while you know you're being fooled and you loving it, that's the magician at work.
You need to be really talented to pull these tricks off. They make it look easy but after learning the secret its crazy how many mistakes can happen and blow the whole thing.

I’m going to try this trick now!
*Seconds later picking up 52 cards*
Never mind I’ll stick to watching
Even the secret was revealed, it's still not easy to be able to do it seamlessly like the way he did it, not to mention coming up in creating this elution - magic 😮😀😀
Totally agree
Illusion
Magic trick isn't just all knowledge, its mostly skill to pull the trick off
Bro u can’t be serious?? Elution??? EDAI is U serious
Just theory and assumptions, with no proof
I even paused, rewind, played in slow speed and i still don't get how he do it so flawlessly. Thats some amazing talent and skill Shin has🔥🔥👌👌
Camera edits at the camera jump cuts
Revealing how the trick is done is one thing. Able to execute it flawlessly is whole new ball game.
We know magic doesn't exist, it's just that his act is flawless & the execution is astounding.
I know some people don’t like the reveals, but honestly the explanation makes this all the more impressive. Such incredible skill!
Revealing this makes me respect the guy even more. Absolutely amazing slight of hand.

It’s sleight* of hand.

This reveal actually made me appreciate the trick even more
True
*Wow... this is hands down the best magic trick reveal channel. Doesn't skip over any of the tricks, but covers everything in detail.*
Glad you liked it!
Even though the trick is being revealed that’s not easy to learn. Shim is on another level.
The complexity level of this performance is astonishing. Even with this reveal, to be able to accomplish this trick is amazing.
These videos actually makes us appreciate these magicians woow they are skillful

When it was performed in AGT everybody was like 😲😲😲😄👍
Bro revealing it makes it more amazing. And I do video editing for a living lol
Everyone is aware is a trick, but the execution of the trick is what makes it amazing
People think revealing ruins the trick… but it actually gives you much more amazement knowing it still fooled you even if you know how they did it
And usually, the truly great magicians can fool you again and again with same trick, because often times, there more than one way to do a trick. So, when you think you know how a trick is done, that's when you are most vulnerable to the same trick.
Wow the explanations are fantastic but it doesn't make the tricks any less amazing. It just amazing in a different way now.
You get more interested in what they are doing, because the reveal shows it isn't a cheap gimmick. This is years and years of practice! Utterly amazing!
It doesn’t matter how he did the trick, the fact that he performed it perfectly is mind boggling enough. Fantastic performance 👍
I saw Shin Lim live in 2012. He instantly became my favorite magician of all time.
Amazing skills to present all this in perfection!! Pure magic! Respect!
Even knowing what he does it still blows my mind how smooth and fast he is at sleight of hand.
Thank you for the video .
But after all , we know this took Shin Lim a lot of time to practice and yet i love how he so confident infront of thousand people . Amazing magician ❤
I've tried sleight of hand doing very basic magic my cousin taught me and I still couldn't do it. Shin's skills are magic in itself.
It's impressive on his end, completely, but I think the producers tried their hardest to assist the act with their camera shot placement and zoom.
Wow, agree with everyone....knowing how it's done, this guy is flawless in his execution
Thus what we call great talent...it's not easy to do that! It's extraordinary!
Thank you for revealing this. You are doing the world a great service. You should be very proud of yourself.
The amount of practices needed to perfectly perform all this trick is the really amazing thing. Amazing!
Even now that I know the secrete its even more impressive, I don't think I could do it in years to come. The man is a genius
This is truly an amazing and complex routine. Even more impressive now that we know how it was done.
after knowing all what he did i even appriciate Shim Lim more for such smooth and perfect slight of hand. thanks for the video i put a like on it.
thank you for revealing this trick. like others have written below, shin is an amazing magician
the execution of all these is still magic. Thanks for the video, i wanted to know the tricks behind this performance so bad!
Fantastic!!!! I'm just as amazed at his strategy and slight of hands than his actual "magic" trick. Just mind boggling how he thinks up all this stuff, then actually performing it in front of people. That takes mad skills!!!!
This video made Shin Lin that he's in a league of his own.
Loved this video 👏🏼
Revealing this will make Shin popularity to go up by 1000% Seriously.
I'm not in awe of the magic, because I know he tricks me, but I'm in awe of the trick behind the magic he created.

So interesting to see this. And insane amount of difficult moves to pull them off all in sequence is still mind boggling.
If this secret is actually how Shin tricks us then I think he has an IQ of 300 way beyond human imagination ❤❤❤... He's my all time favorite AGT winner and I'm sure he will always be...
It’s not some mind blowing tricks if you separate it one by one, but Shin is able to link it up and compose a masterpiece… that’s y shin is GOAT
Absolutely genius..thanks for explaining. What a beautiful piece of work by you and him.❤
That is brillantly explained, thank you
What an incredible routine! Thanks for sharing
Shin Lim has to be the best upclose card magician in the world, hands down.
My god even after this video revealing everything, I just keep thinking that’s so many elements in a single performance to get right. So much fine motor skills and precision.
It shows how talented shin is...
Damn this is the best magic reveal content
Knowing how he does it, makes it more amazing.
How would someone even begin to conceptualize this…amazing
ang talented mo talaga pooh. Komedyante na magikero pa.

The Queen card appears using magic
It's a talent not easy to do.....great job
Ok someone already said it 😂😂😂 god damn, the talent that goes into that trick! I’m a bit more amazed now 💪👍🏻
Somehow I’m more amazed by it after learning how it’s done.
Beautifully Explained
the TRUE magic is HOW the magic was delivered.
That's why he is so talented. But thanks for revealing the trick
Doesnt matter. Stil a magic bec of how cleverly he did❤
Shin is a genius, respect
Wow! He's so intelligent.
He is really working hard to craft his tricks
That's impressive af
Amazing trick❤ execution is perfect...love it
He's stuck a beast. The amount of work and practice to perform this is quite amazing.

He tricked millions of people and he tricked the camera that means he is the genius
He can’t trick the camera but the camera work with him. Camera help him to hide and find a good angle for him to show his act perfectly
You mean the camera worked with him.
@@Kay-dx8vm simple logic. The show got popular by make people amazed and to make people amazed is his performance. So you have to make him performance perfectly from every aspect and void people notice. The job done
a series of tricks that look very cool
Shin is incredibly amazing.
Not sure you can uncover them just like that, but they surely have something special
great video!
Shin is top of top magician. Ive met him and he is exactly how he is on stage.
Its his talent.Best timing❤

great
That's real talent right there
Wow. But even with the "secrets" revealed, he is still by far the sexiest performer.
U wrong , I am the sexiest performer, will blow your mind away
this we call it, user fanny very fast hand ❤
Clean .
Creating a series of illusions in such a short and well calculated time is an illusion in itself
Bro great video keep it up 🔥
He actually tattooed a Queen of Espades hes into wild stuff LMAO
It's amazing how this entertainment in our time would have put Shin to death in the 15th century for witch craft.
Because of the church and religion, yep.
Amazingly talented
Thanking for doing these because I’m so tired of people saying magic is done with the help of Jins or demons
breakimg this down is the real magic
So many magic tricks can be revealed watching them in slow motion as the speed with which he moves hides a lot of the sleight of hand.
His delivery was perfectly magical even if it’s all just an illusion.
Can you reveal "sleight of hand" - that is magical.
the last is the only thing I can't understand, or hes just smooth enough to result of flawless act??
I’m Shin and I approve this message but don’t tell Tyra😂
I think the tattoo ruined the trick because it immediately meant that the card was forced.
100% correct
How observant. What an explanation. Your channel is a treat for me.

Whatever his hands moments where amazing
To pull it off on live tv is epic
