I gotta love this! I spent the best part of my life in Bar Harbor. Raised my girls there. One of the paradises on the plsnet. Wonderful to see this... Thanks bub😊
My favorite kind of video! Pancakes 🥞, coffee, popovers, oysters 🦪 beer 🍺, peppers 🫑 and pate please! Looked like a great day of eating and drinking thank you taking us along with you!
Yo I was so full after all that. The first spot was only supposed to be one meal. The owner was like here showcase all 3 of these massive dishes LOL! I was like, "Dude, I still gotta eat at several other spots across town."
I lived in Bar Harbor and raised my kidd there. Two Cats was a great restaurant. I wish the new owners the best. I once made an offer to buy that beautiful old house before it became a restaurant😊😊😊
@@AdventuresOfATravelingDon I had a BnB on Cottage St. Just a block down on the other side of the street. You are not telling me anything I do not know. I also built a house on Eagle Lake Road that you have passed many times. First house on the left across from the school... Perhaps my dragon is still there!!!!
@@AdventuresOfATravelingDon second time you said "nowadays"!!!! I loathe that saying... Nowadays are the best days!!! Apparently you haven't learned yet...wait till the aches and pains set in!!! Nice. Cheers Ben! You’re making me hungry & I want to eat and travel!! If I ever go there I will definitely have to try it. Great flow on editing too. 👏🏽👍🏽
Great video. The Terrace Grille is another good spot on a nice day (beautiful views). Been to CJ's a few times but will have to try those other spots next time I'm in that area. I'm way too frugal to stay at the Balance Rock Inn but I love just walking into the lobby and looking around.
Great commentary as always! You have such a natural and easy way of presenting the foods and places! Ugh red wine and chocolate/fudge = heartburn….. just wait until you’re older!
Its a close one for me. I do love their blueberry Pancakes and muffins. When I hunger for traditional Eggs and bacon that is indeed the place to go. I think I lean 2 Cats because of some of the unique items like the smoothies and the Lobster Eggs Beni
Jordans is about the vibes...I had breakfast there most mornings for a quarter century! Brought my two girls in the morning before school... Can't begin to describe the experience! David Paine is still cooking the blues and making literally millions of locals and tourists happy. Coming up on a half century, if you happen to go there, tell him John Conti misses him😅
So dangerous to watch this when hungry!!! Popovers look amazing and so do the Oysters! Hope we can share a meal together one day! Haha That last place looked definitely the best for sure, but you can't have a full food tour without ICE CREAM! Next time in Maine we must try these places! Thanks for sharing!
Here for this food content 🙌🏼 That breakfast made me SO hungry - I’m a big fan of eggs Benedict. I’ve never heard of a popover before… We’re currently in Mexico so drinking lots of Mezcal - it’s definitely an acquired taste haha. Definitely have to finish the day with ice cream 🍦 Such a good video! We love making food vlogs when we can. We are STARVING now 😂 New supporters here ☺️ Emily and Tom
Thanks Emily and Tom. Popovers are a uniquely Northeast thing. Based on English Yorkshire Puddings. I love Mezcal save me some 👍😉. Super jealous y'all are having all that delicious Mexican Food.
@@AdventuresOfATravelingDon Ohhh right! I knew they looked familiar! I’ve just spent a few months over in the UK and had some Yorkshire puddings. Hahaha can do! Feeling very blessed that we’re able to indulge in some tasty Mexican food right now 🙏 Although last night we had Indian with some friends 😂
humm... I just found your video, and I lookd at the 2 cats breakfast menu but i did not find the lobster benedits or the other eggs with caponata on them... looks like their menu has changed.
April 15-20th in Bar Harbor? Not many. The main part of the season doesn't kick off until late May. However, the places that should be open are Learys Irish Pub, Two Cats in the video is generally open year round. Side Street Cafe is open year round. That's a nice spot. Blaze is craft pizzas will be open by then. Peekytoes is a good spot for a seafood sandwich. Choco-Latte Coffee Shop is a good spot for a quick coffee and bite. Harborside Hotel is generally open year round so should their Wine Bar and Italian Restaurant as well. Oh and my buddy Diwas who owns 2 Cats also owns Royal Indian if you're looking for some spice to add.
Raw onions, to be fair even cooked onions. They taste great cooked but, don't be in a room with me afterwards. 😂 My stomach doesn't process onions very well.

That would've been a great house to have. Although the traffic outside your Front door nowadays would be ridiculous in the Summer.
It's gotten crazy in town nowadays.

Wowwwwwww. This place looks incredible!
Bar Harbor is such a gem of the Northeast. Glad you liked it.
I have been to Maine and MDI many times. Yours is the best vlog on Maine I have seen. Keep it up!
I appreciate that. Thank you very much.
This is a very lovely video. I’ll be back to watch more.
Great video. Enjoyed watching it. Stop by 2 Cats again :) and I need to try some other places you mentioned in the video
Thanks again for everything Diwas. Keep up the amazing work. Get some sleep sometime ya crazy overworker!
Looks Amazing 💕
Thanks, it's an excellent place to visit and the food gems are to die for.
Now I know what to get next time I go! Thanks for posting!
You're welcome. Hope you enjoyed your last trip.
I liked a lot the chill atmosphere of balance…your breakfast too! The cherry in the cake dadadaaaaa!!! Ice cream ❤️
Balance Rock is my favorite Restaurant on the Island. So classy and delicious
Oh yummy foodies :) Certainly made us hungry watching you giving us tours and showing us those foods.
Glad y'all enjoyed the tour. Makes the food baby I developed worth it 😋😁😂
Nice tour of the places. Great presentation and very informative. Looks like you had so much fun.
Thanks for sharing
So much fun and so damn full.
I’m jazzed about these featured spots! The only problem…I’m extra Hungry now!! 😅😂
Then I did my job 😁
Such a nice food vlog.. Looks Yummy
It was delicious 😋!
Wonderful food!!! We loved the food when we were in Bar Harbor!
Such a foodie town. Do you remember the places in Bar Harbor you ate at?
Thank you for the great tour!
Glad you enjoyed it.
Wow! Such great looking food. The breakfast in particular looked amazing. Loved the story of the name of the 2 Cats Breakfast place.
It's a great little spot. Well known by the locals. Always busy.
Love this!! Love a good foodie guide....and I think I NEED that Death by Chocolate fudge!
Lol I was too scared of that one. Went for the good ole peanut butter choclate fudge.
Amazing video! I'm Bar Harbor right now. Thanks for the recommendations. Subscribed
Awesome! Hope you guys have a fantastic time. If you need any pasta after all the Lobster I'll be bartending at Porcelli's Italian on Wednesday.

Appreciate it Meli! Let me know if you ever get the chance to come to Bar Harbor. Even if I'm not here I can help you with a lot of great spots.
Wow that looks so delicious, next time when I get there I'll try these restaurants.
Dude do it!
That lobster egg Benedict looks amazing!
It was amazing!!!
you must have enjoyed making this video! So much good filling tasty food!
It was so much fun. Painful by the end but, sooo good 😁😋

Yeah Balance Rock is a bit on the high end side. I usually only have a full dinner there once a Summer when I'm up there.
That Ben and Bill's chocolate Emporium looks great. I could use some fudge right now. You took us to some awesome looking eateries.
Glad you enjoyed. The fudge was amazing.
WoW todo tiene muy buena pinta. La verdad es que es un bonito lugar con los barcos. Oh ❤️Chocolate, definitivamente es mi lugar. 🤣
Love this tour!! I hope I can do this soon.
Glad you enjoyed. So many great places in Bar Harbor to enjoy.
Great commentary as always! You have such a natural and easy way of presenting the foods and places! Ugh red wine and chocolate/fudge = heartburn….. just wait until you’re older!
I hope that's the one combo that doesn't give me heartburn when I'm older. At that point I may end myself lol.
Your videos are great bro keep it going
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed them.
Thanks for the hint on two cats, transpant here so we will try👍
If Diwas is there, tell him I said hi
@@AdventuresOfATravelingDon Will do, great show.🤘
Jordan’s Restaurant has the best breakfast in Bar Harbor

Great video. How far is Bar Habor from Portland? Flying into Portland but like to visit other nearby towns.
So most direct route up 95 is about 3-3.5 hours to Bar Harbor
However, I highly recommend taking your time and using the coastal route.
Visiting Bar Harbor on a cruise. Are all these places walking distance from the tender port and each other?
Yes they are. Everything is within walking distance in Bar Harbor
humm... I just found your video, and I lookd at the 2 cats breakfast menu but i did not find the lobster benedits or the other eggs with caponata on them... looks like their menu has changed.
I haven't yet been this season but, I wouldn't be surprised if they had changed the menu. It's a bummer though. That Lobster Benedict was fantastic.
@@AdventuresOfATravelingDon yes! everything you had looked amazing! oh well...

Food looked good, but OMG that noise level in the background...................I had to mute it and use sub titles.
Some of those spots definitely get a bit loud. Particularly in the height of Summer. So much people traffic through that town.
Did you see TikToker Zzzachariah? 😆you guys must have been out at the same time!
I heard about that. I haven't seen his video yet.
DAM I WANT YOUR JOB
😂😂😂 it's simple really, grab a camera, go to eating establishments and give them the puppy dog eyes until they relent and give you food.
Blueberry Pancakes at 2 Cats & Oysters at The Barnacle Oyster Bar are my fave!!!!!
Nothing like some good oysters. I agree, the blueberry Pancakes were my favorite part of breakfast.
bro, is there anything you don't like to eat?
Raw onions, to be fair even cooked onions. They taste great cooked but, don't be in a room with me afterwards. 😂 My stomach doesn't process onions very well.
Omg…looks phenomenal… but, dude, get rid of the old bandaid
Lol I honestly well it's been long gone since then. I don't even remember what I cut myself on before filming this.
Don what happened to your finger? 🤔🥺
Honestly, I don't remember but, I'm gonna guess a work place cut or burn.
Take care out there 💪🏽 great content btw 🫱🏽🫲🏻🫡
Irs really loud in there
Talking about in The Barnacle? Yeah it's gotten real popular and it's almost always packed.
