- There was a lot of fire growth last night, and some of it was from fire lines that were laid to the NW. Hopefully it will hold and not blow any farther North, which would be towards the town of Obrien, and ultimately Cave Junction.

What does Bill Gates have to do with my comment? God is in control and we're not. If God trusted Bill Gates enough to put him up that high of the chain of command, what does God know man doesn't? So far 97 percent of this earth school experiment is a lie. The point of this experiment is to remember the face of our Father and having our name written in the book of creation. Many claim to be God's but most are turning away when Jesus says no you have forgotten the face of our Father. Everyone wants God to do everything for them but what are they doing for God? Jesus did all of that for everyone but what are they doing for Jesus? Just saying it isn't enough they have to physically do something to earn Jesus back. The entire planet literally stopped, he's been here watching everyone interact on earth deciding where to place everyone according to deeds on earth. Have an amazing Apocalypse where every agency is monitoring this conversation. Babylon must first be brought to it's knees in order to fix the mess humans have created. Normally I would agree with you, like the multiple fires that were started up the 5 in 2020, but unfortunately this was all lightning. Our communities frustration is that once started, it was allowed to grow for a week before addressing it, when it could have been extinguished early on.

Yeah, there are quite a few fires in Oregon right now, with the Smth River Complex being the biggest so far. We were hoping it would be quickly contained once it crossed into Oregon, but that has not been the case. It's now the hottest and fastest burning area, even with record cold temps and high humidity. Very sad to see.

That's what locals are worried about...only 1 road in and out, and the line for evacuation level 1 was drawn like a bubble around Cave Junction, excluding it from receiving any alert updates.

The specific fire I'm referring to in this video is the Smith River Complex fire North end. I'm in the town of Cave Junction, Oregon, and have been posting updates every few days as the fire progresses. This was just an update video for the fire in my specific area, so that my subscribers are kept up to date as the fire effects my area.
You can't have "Fire Saeson" if the fire boys dont go out and make those fires to burn and fight. This is the best part of their year....$$$ in OT, they Love it.
Sadly the younger kids on the front line get barely above minimum wage, but it's the water tanker owners and the dozer owners who get upwards of $7000+ per day renting their equipment to the government. And yes, I said $7000+....it's crazy.

@SeniorMoostacho no, I meant the younger guys that are out cutting brush, moving debris, and mopping up the fire edges. There are several companies with want ads that show the pay scale for those positions, and they are not very much. I think the water truck and dozer guys should be paid good, but not as much as folks who put their actual bodies on the line. Unfortunately it's not that way. The hotshot crews are different though...I just wish the smoke jumpers were still utilized, the way they were in the 40's and 50's.

odd coincidence, isn't it...democratic/Lib run states with awful fire/forestry management... This is a 40-year accumulation of bad forest management tied directly to horrible state management. Last Republican Governor in OR was 1981 I believe. 80+% of the state is populated with conservative-minded, conservation forestry-minded Republican and Independent voters. It's that blight we call Portland that has ruined everything for the rest of the state. And Salem... It would help if mail-in voting was banned in OR. Just sayin'... Boots on the ground forest management of the 80's was effective and made sense. Boots on the ground in-person voting would be exactly the same.

Yes well sitting in tall dry grass and they are dove hunting and pig hunting behind me. Large cattle operation owner is a lawyer and he feels he owns us as well as his cows. Other words can do what they want other words I hope they have a water truck handy I have been laid up due to doctors stupidity so my property not cleared out as normally have.
