I so loved this extraordinary fair! It was so exciting & came up from West Spfld., Ma in a Peter Pan tour when I was just 17 yrs old. We must have stayed overnight but I do not remember much of the particulars of the actual trip up( think we stayed few days )but I remember Expo 67 like it was yesterday! It was an exciting fair & the pavilions were amazing! I so loved Habitat in particular & remember looking up at at, as I walked under the amazing complex thinking how exciting it would be to actually live in that complex. I returned yrs later in 1971 with a girlfriend on vacation. We drove up to Montreal in my then, brand new sports car convertible 🚘 (taught my girlfriend how to drive 4 speed on the way up🤣) and we returned to Habitat! It looked just as exciting then as it did in 1967 during the fair! I so loved that fair & love Montreal ( Toronto too, for that matter!)!
Une des grande frustration de ma vie c'est de ne pas avoir connu Expo67. J'aurais tellement aimé visiter cette exposition mais que voulez-vous je n'étais pas encore né.
I didn’t know that & I came up from western Massachusetts to visit with a girlfriend! I so loved Marvin Gaye & didn’t realize they both appeared there! Thanks for info!!!♥️

This is why the Toronto Maple Leafs won the Stanley Cup in 1967. My mother went to this when she was 5 years old.
We should have Expo 67 again to bring World Peace!
I mean we did kind of have one in 2017 it was Canada's 150th anniversary, but i will be honest it wasn't that great.

Wow! J'en ai des larmes de jalousie... Triste de voir Montréal 43 ans plus tard.
... and it was all downhill from here: 1967 really was "The Last Good Year".
