She also works at a shelter In Texas and she mentions how many black cats/kittens are at the shelter for months, She does whatever she can to make their color pop like bright colored towels to lay on. She mentions that black dogs get over looked too but are so sweet and just want to love & play. ADOPT the black cat/kitten/dog/puppy of your dreams!!!

Oh my heart!! I adopted an all-black cat from Best Friends Animal Society, 13 years ago. He *was just laying on my lap and is now on the floor, bathing his beautiful self. He has the most gorgeous, amber colored eyes. My other kitty is also rescued and he's a gorgeous, brown tabby. Adopted animals are the best breed. Loved this Dodo video and those two babies are precious!! 🙌🏽 ❤

Multi-colored pets are great, don't get me wrong. But, there is absolutely nothing wrong with a single-colored pet as attested to my by late black cat, Ursie, and our late Yellow Lab, Bul. :)
I absolutely adore black cats - we had one years ago who was the sweetest little baby. And she only got to about five pounds fully grown! Miss you Wrigley ❤
Damn I love this stuff ! I have always loved Kathryn and I am a total animal lover ! I am 65 and don't have the energy for a dog anymore but I am beginning now to look for a rescue cat - older and a real snuggle bug. When I moved into my house almost 8 years ago, I found that a sweet, semi-feral calico cat was living under it. We flirted for a while and then adopted each other after a month or so. She was a free spirit that liked to be outside a lot in the warmer months, but then would be very happy staying indoors on my lap when it was cold. She was a total sweetheart but I had to put her down last Christmas due to cancer. I miss my sweet Spooky so much.... But I will begin looking for a new rescue soon. I can't wait to have a new snuggle buddy.

One of the reasons I adopted Nergal from Best Friends is because he IS a Void (black kitty). And his personality. He IS a fantastic little friend. Although his older brother, Thor, doesn't think so at times *lol*
