The parents were a bit wishy-washy, it has to be said. It wasn't healthy that their child developed such an obsession with the doll that it carried on throughout his whole life. They should have taken the thing away from him and really got rid of it (burning, or something final). That everyone else has carried on around it in the same mien has only made things worse. But, people love the Dark Adventure that I've seen. In magik, it's said that if such behaviour as this is repeated long and often enough, it creates a Thought Form, which can take on a life of its own. Beyond that, if can become an Egregore, which can become autonomous if "controls" are not put in place at the time of its creation, or if a "destroy date" has not been applied to its life-span. Very interesting indeed, Bleaki, and I think it will go on for some time to come because people LOVE being terrorized! Thank you.

Dragon!! How have you been? That’s a really good point about the thought form. Also, it’s like a slow burning mass hysteria that is now in full swing. The story is attractive so people have got on board and fuelled the flame. I think it went the same way with Annabelle.

I'm fine now, thank you Bleaki. I had the most humongous asthma attack and was hospitalised for 9 days, and had a second attack in hospital - so lots of nebulizers and IV antibiotics, etc. Actually, I had been in an asthma attack for over 4 weeks but didn't recognise what it was! I just thought I was constantly out of breath and panting and didn't "realise I had gotten so unfit", lol. I know better now. Next time I can't stop panting for no reason, I am to contact them straight away. So, an even keel has returned and I come back to find a Bleaki story waiting. Yay! I hope you and yours are well too.

That's a really interesting point @Dragonfly you would have thought that they would have tried harder it reminds me of the account of the Dybukk box maybe you could do a video on the Dybukk box @Bleakiblinder and the amount of people it affected even to the point where it was sold or handed round to other people like you said burying was the answer it only stopped having power over people by finally being bound (if I remember rightly in a religious cloth then boxed in) it was buried in a field by the last owner and nobody knew where. Interestingly Ghost Adventures did an episode on it being dug up again and it started to affect someone on camera they started speaking in an unknown language and acting oddly. It just shows how strong evil spirits can be even after many years. I too find it interesting that dolls can sometimes act as a vessel for spirits and there is a macabre number of sellers listing 'haunted' dolls on eBay some are listed as child or innocent spirits but how can one truly know that it isn't an evil spirit masquerading as a child etc? It's a dangerous game as I found out myself. I also think sometimes spirits can be given more and more energy without people realising what they are doing as in the case of ZoZo an apparent demon a few years ago all of a sudden it became a world wide phenomenon and people were reporting paranormal things happening all the time again was it down to feeding spirits and giving them the energy to affect people?

Wow! I've been in that house and even made a sketch of the outside (decades ago). I had no idea it was connected to the doll. Thanks for the information.

It’s surprising what happens behind closed doors without knowing. I lived in a house that I later found out was the last place a missing woman was seen in the 70s.

@@BleakiBlinder it is an interesting story watching Ghost Adventures with Robert was creepy. Funny enough I collect antique dolls I once had over 500 (I know 🙄)but gradually sold most of them off. I only ever had problems with 3 a set of Raggedy Anne and Andy dolls which I purchased on eBay from America the owner was selling her daughter's dolls and toys to pay for her funeral (she and her boyfriend were killed in a car crash) I felt sorry for her. When I had them they would be in different positions or places in my house the lights would go on and off and my cats wouldn't go in the bedroom where they were on a sofa. I tried to sell them at a dolls fair I was selling at but nobody would have them I even offered them free to the woman on the next stall and she took them only to bring them back at the end of the day she said there was a funny feeling with them and besides they need to be with you. I eventually palmed them off on a family member I didn't like lol 😂 she just put them in a locked box in the loft. The other one was a modern sitting Shirley Temple toddler doll (Google) over time her eyes turned red but the biggest thing was when I was getting ready for bed one night and she was thrown forcefully from the top of the wardrobe narrowly missing my head! She put a dent in the wall but only broke an arm go figure. Fortunately that's the only experience I've had with all my hundreds needless to say I no longer collect dolls 😆

@@poohbearrichie72 PB that is absolutely terrifying! What is it with Raggedy Anne aye? And the fact the woman bought it back is wild. There are so many haunted doll stories out there so it must be more common than most people think.
