Sleep paralysis/night terrors is an interesting physiological occurrence that is surprisingly more common than one might think. It happened a few times to me when I was in my early teens. It seems that from time to time the mechanism in your brain that shuts off your motor abilities during REM sleep can fail. In which case, often when one is in that state between sleeping and waking, can be an extremely terrifying experience. When it occurred to me, I was convinced that a demon was crawling up the side of my house and was about to enter through my bedroom window. When I tried calling out, of course, it was impossible. Such a bizarre experience. It is easy to understand that a person who has no idea about this process could believe they were being haunted. Keep up the great work, your videos are very entertaining. Cheers from Canada!!

Jamie, it really is. That sounds horrible! It happened to me once also when I was younger. Mine was that I woke up in the night and there was a man hovering a blade above me while I was still in bed and slowly bringing it down. I could'nt move and it felt like literal hours. Then the blade went in, I felt it, then woke up soon after. Messed me up for days that did.

Really enjoyed the live and chat, Bleaki. And Ruby-dog finally got fed! 😊 ETA: By the way, Bleaki, if you have Talking Pictures TV on your freeview list, a version of M. R. James' "Whistle And I'll Come To You" is on at 8pm. I know you liked that one 😊

It was cool to have you in the chat Dragon 😃. Lucky Ruby, next time I will have to schedule earlier so Ruby gets their grub on time haha. Oh no, I missed it, I played card games with a friend yesterday but I will find it on the internet.

Great video. I personally believe that it is easier for us to perceive “things” with no light and a quiet/calm place. 3 am sounds good for that. I don’t believe the other dimension changes whether it’s day or night, just our receptors. Much like our third eye (pineal gland) opens up when our eyes close for dreaming purposes.

I agree with you Zeltaris! I think our senses can tune into the frequency when conditions are just right.

Do you think it is ghosts or to do with sleeping? I think it is sleeping and dreams...

I think there are too many strange occurrences to write all off as the brain playing tricks.

I'm happy you enjoy the combo! I think it may put a few people off but breaking up creepy stuff with jokes is what keeps me sane when researching haha
