@@ghassan111 yeah they’re very similar to having a microscope attached to your face. Just know that the magnification is not the same as an actual scope.
The current version of her loupes and designs for vision in about 5x have a similar FOV. I don’t have experience with ergro orascoptic. My 4.8x orascoptic TTL are a bit “closer” than the ergro loupes in the same magnification. Also TTL loupes have less distortion than ergro designs in my experience.
@@ChrisNelsonDDS i love ergo loupes and the ideal of correct posture when performe treatment but do not seen surgeon used it. So i am doubting should i buy an straight or ergo loupes. My main field is oral surgery and prosthetic
@@maisajbin2954 I love mine! You’ll be happy with them for surgery. There are a few positions that require some neck movement that is challenging but overall I like mine! Using them 90%+ of the time.
What mag are you running for the hero loupes? And is the designs for vision the ultralite mini?
Are they good for endodontic treatment?

How did you get the design for vision light mounted on those loupes?
@@LouisReier I ordered a spare mount from Designs For Vision and modified it a tiny amount to make it work.

Great video! I know you got them for free but any idea how much those Hero loupes are going for?!
Just contact Hero Loupes, they will give you a fair number.

@@ChrisNelsonDDSWhat do you mean by “distortion”?
Can an ergo loupe used for surgery?
They have more distortion than TTL straight loupes but I use them for everything.
@@ChrisNelsonDDSso you feel completely fine when doing surgery with an ergo loupe
