    Jó kis videó. Én WTF-es vagyok (sajnos a környéken nincs ITF), és tudom, sok minden más, de azt ne gondoltam, hogy az alapvető szakkifejezések is. Ügyes vagy!

    One suggestion: when you're thrusting your hips into the kick, its a good idea to pivot your supporting foot to lessen the strain on the knee of the supporting leg, the same as you would for a yop chagi.

      General choi explicitly says in tkd encyklopedia that the stationary foot should not pivot during the ap chagi. If you pivot your stationary leg during impact than your side of the hip also pivots. That means that the power of the whole hip is not behind the kick but only half of your hip is. You are also more prone to be put of balance if your kick is blocked. Cheers.

    In which part of the opponent's head do you need to kick?

    • @NoraTKD
      @NoraTKD  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      When you use the front kick, the ball of the foot should target the opponent's throat, chin, mouth, nose, forehead. Of course DO NOT use this technique during a sparring competition (it is too dangerous).

      Kick in the face is not dangerous

      @@NoraTKD Очень красиво. Какие могут быть опасные последствия таких ударов в шею, челюсть и нос ? ... удар в лоб как понимаю, просто ошеломляет противника?

    Can this kick be used to hit the testicles? Serious question

    • @NoraTKD
      @NoraTKD  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, a low section swift front kick could go to that area.

      @@NoraTKD Agreed. A well timed low kick is one of the best methods for neutralizing any street assailant, Nora.

    Appear to me that the normal speed kick is different from the low speed, at low speed there's no hips thrust

    • @NoraTKD
      @NoraTKD  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Very good insight! I think that with low speed you can do a hip thrust if you want to but we are mainly training the muscles and the joints to get used to the kick. Therefore we are building the muscles and trying to stretch them as well, then we do no need to do the hip thrust. If is makes you feel better, of course you can add that when you are practicing.

    The best thing for kids and beginners in MA, this includes bjj , judo and kickboxing aswell. Drop the poomsae and kata or atleast minimize it and work on basics until you have it where you want or when your instructor thinks it is time for spar. I think Nora disagrees with me on traditional forms but I really find them useless.

    • @NoraTKD
      @NoraTKD  6 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I think that all aspects of Taekwon-do is useful and important to practice, although one will have preferences toward specific things over time. Many people who compete in sparring do no compete in patterns and vica versa. I agree with you that knowing and practicing the basic moves is the most important thing. Doing the patters/forms is also important because it helps you develop your coordination, memory, precision and aesthetics. The sparring help you develop your reflexes, accuracy and the actual fighting style that is essential. But if one does not know the basics, it will definitely show in sparring (and hurt the opponent by accident) and whilst doing the patters (zero coordination).
