    I have a 2016 Chrysler 300c3.6 have 2 camshaft codes and same transmission codes . I replaced 3rocker arms about six months ago could it be my camshaft is bad what can I do

    Hello friend, I have the same problem in my 2014 JGC, the transmission did not fit and I have the same codes, before the mechanic changed the camshafts, lifters, roker arms, this problem came after that, please help me, what do you think?

      @@josephac8460 Hey listen, if this problem didnt happen until after those repairs, its likely something not in time right. Even those cam phasers could be giving you problems, or oil pressure low from thoses oil gallery plugs being lose. It could be a number of things besides the trans especially if engine work was just done.

    I guess its the phasers for sure. Just a question wether the sending unit or the oil pump is bad. Those codes will definitely become the cause of TCM codes and affect drivability.

      Yes, but sometimes, your estimate becomes a matter of recommendations due to the miliage, not because said part is bad. When I go in to do a leaking water pump on a 3.5, I will also replace the timing belt and tensioner, not because its bad at this very moment but because it makes sense. Thanks for watching bud.

    I've been searching the net for days with my codes. I recently had both heads shaved down and new gaskets put on on my Pentastar on my Ram 1500 and then the TCM codes. I replaced both Cam sensors and still have the tcm code and it goes into limp mode after about 15 minutes of driving. It's driving me crazy. Now after your video, I am starting to wonder if they got my timing off just a little or if they did something to the Cam phasers? Either way, your video made the most sense of anything I've watched. Thank you!

    I’m having the same problem but like I replaced all sensors on engine and I replaced the oil filter housing cuz the plastic ones are junk but I’m still having all these problems

    Somehow I missed this video, I just replaced my transmission harness connector on 06 300c. Was leaking fluid into connection and throwing a code. Fingers crossed that was it, the code hasn't came back and that was 5 days ago or so

    On my old Neon if the sensors started having major issues like the crank sensor getting hot and not sending data the cil would start flashing and the car would buck and stall and have all kinds of random codes besides crank position sensor fault. Sometimes I think the computer gets confused when a major fault happens and does and shows all kinds of weird issues not close to related to the real problem buried in all of the extra codes.
    Every so often it would get confused and refuse to start and run properly and I'd have to pull the fuel pump fuse, which also fed the computer and it would clear everything and then start and run fine till many months later when it would randomly do it again. Clearing codes never fixed it with my scan tool either, it had to be a hard reboot.

    I have a 14 JGC 5.7 with codes U1424 , P1DD2, P0344 and my car won’t go over 35 without it sounding like the rpm’s are high as hell.

      @@OnlineMechanicTips 167,000 so my mechanic told me it was the cats first and couple days later the transmission. So idk while driving it cold it was shifting but it was smoking up after 10
      Minutes.

    Yes these newer cars have so many electrical sensors/modules that can cause symptoms similar to a transmission🤦‍♂️

    i am having a hell of a time finding the issue with my charger. it has the v6. I just put the rebuild in and keep in my mind I had all the seats and carpet and consol out as well. I put everything back together and the car starts up great the first time. go to start it again and it is acting up the codes i have are P0339, P0345, P0365, P0390, P1DD2, U0100 AND U1424 (LIMP MODE) I checked the timing and it is good. Battery is good. I feel like maybe I have a connector I forgot to put back together or maybe some wires got messed up but it's frustrating. It seems as if signal is not getting back to the ecu. I also have a stability control error message.
    You are an expert and I am hoping you could give me a specific place to check. is there a connector or part of the harness that transmission. crank, cam and stability control wires run together?

    Perfect, the TCM is requesting torque but the PCM is saying no I can't, engine is not feeling well. Let's just limp home for now

    DTC engine codes:
    P0390 CMP B2S2
    P0345 CMP B2S1
    DTC TRANSMISSION CODES:
    P1DAF-00 TRANS
    U1424-00 TRANS
    P1DD2-00 TRANS (FLASH TCM CODE)
    where do I start IF I have already replaced the cam sensors less than 3 months ago??????

    How are you doing I have a 2017 Jeep renegade 2 wheel drive 2.4 engine it started making noise when shifting from park to reverse and drive clucking noise do you think I might need a Software update on the transmission???

      Very rare a software update would repair a noise. Is the check engine light on? Are you subscribed to the channel?

      No check engine on the noise only happens when I shift from park to reverse or drive I only have 44k miles so I don’t think it’s the transmission I also hear the noise when going over speed bumps thanks for the reply and yes I’m Subscribed

    So even a low oil level can cause it to sk wrong codes on the vvt engine

    Can someone help me please ! I have the following problem with my Volvo S60 T5 2001 year ; 250HP......when engine is cold and i start it, car performance it`s okay, if i don`t stop the engine even for a loong time driving it`s still okay. But if when engine already hot and i restart the engine performance drops dramatically....i need to wait it to cool down to be again with normal performance. Is it possible that it is due to a change in the viscosity of the oil cause VVT issues ?

    I have the U1424 and p1dd2 codes and car goes into limp mode but there aren't any codes on the PCM or mechanical issues with the engine. It started when I replaced the PCM with an unlocked one. Any tips on how to get rid of the codes without disabling their tests?

      @@OnlineMechanicTips I replaced the battery just incase its voltage is low. The car is a 2016 scatpack challenger. Just liked and subscribed 👍 was looking for this kind of content for a while, luckily I found your channel

      @@kingsmark965 Hey bud you will have an extremely hard time as a DIYer trying to diagnose this yourself. Your Scat equipped with the ZF 8speed RWD trans. The TCM for this trans actually the valve body. I communication has stopped from that point, a real good dealer scan tool will be needed to find out why and what the TCM seeing thats causing the issue. You may have no choice but to visit the dealer. I just check to see if any updates for this year Scat and there is but they may not be related to your problems.

      @@OnlineMechanicTips i updated the tcm at the dealer. Also flashed both tcm + pcm. Car drives for about 15 minutes then gets that trans code again. Do you think its a calibration issue or a bad valve body? I could keep working on the tune but if its hardware related I'd rather just change the valve body and get it over with

    Hey JT i was hoping you could give me some advice....i have a 14 Avenger i have codes 02308 p2305 p2303 p0303 all related to cylinder 3 and injector 3. Says secondary circuit meaning it's the wire or ignition coil. I changed all that with good known spares. What are the chances it's a bad ECU

      @@MrJayKay11 Yes, the 4 bangers on this car. You need to do a major visual on the harness from the PCM to the injectors, pay close attention to the valve cover are, open up that plastic area the valve cover area, you will likely find it rubbing on the valve bolts in some cases. Or better yet, yank up on the complete harness, then erase those codes and see if they return active. Ive found problems in those areas.

      @@OnlineMechanicTips i used a new wiring harness and I'm getting the same problem. Cylinder 3 and injector 3 aren't firing. That's why I'm starting to think it's the pcm. It could be the engine itself
